(Y/n)’s PoV
I ran towards Naruto and Hinata just as Neji stepped in front of them. “Neji!” I screamed. I jumped at him and kicked the chunk of wood as hard as I could, causing it to shatter. I landed on my knees and began panting as I tried to stand up. Neji gave me a shocked look. “(Y/n).” He said as he walked towards me.
My head began throbbing and the world started spinning and fading to black as I passed out.

Neji’s PoV
I jumped in front of Hinata to shield both her and Naruto. “Neji!” I heard someone yell. The voice sounded like (Y/n) but she sounded rather far away. I was relieved about that. “Maybe she’ll get out alive too.” I thought as I closed my eyes, bracing for the impact.
I heard what sounded like wood breaking and turned around to see (Y/n) kneeling on the ground trying to breathe. She looked exhausted as she tried to stand again. “(Y/n).” I said as I began walking closer to her.
Her eyes closed and she started falling forward, causing my body to move on it’s own and catch her. I laid her on the ground and told Hinata to watch her. She nodded and raced over to the unconscious girl to wait for a medic.

*Timeskip to after the war*
I smiled as I walked through the village holding (Y/n)’s hand. Our wedding would be tomorrow and we were on our way to Ichiraku’s to get Hinata and Naruto. We entered the small ramen shop to see a stack of bowls already sitting next to Naruto and a very red faced Hinata who was quietly eating. “Hi guys.” (Y/n) said with a smile and a small wave.
Both of them turned their attention to us as they paid and stood up. We left the shop and began walking around Konoha. After a while, we split off. I went with Naruto while (Y/n) went with Hinata.
We met up with Kiba, Shikamaru, Shino, Sasuke, Sai, Choji, and Lee before we went for barbeque. And to pick up our clothes for tomorrow.
I had chosen to wear the traditional black musake with the clan’s crest on the back. The others had musake too however theirs were just plain black.

(Y/n)’s PoV
Hinata and I walked to the Yamanaka Flower Shop where we met up with Ino, Sakura, Hanabi, and Temari who was visiting for the wedding. We all went to the teahouse to get a snack before we went to go get our kimonos.
Mine was a traditional white bridal kimono while the others’ were a light lavender color. After we got our clothes we decided to meet up with the boys and go get ramen for dinner.
We sat down at Ichiraku and had started eating when I began feeling sick to my stomach, much like I had this morning. I stood up and quickly excused myself with one hand on my mouth and the other on my stomach.
I walked around the corner of the shop and before I could do anything, I threw up. I felt a hand pull my hair out of my face and another rubbing circles on my back.
I looked over to meet two pairs of lavender eyes, one was full of worry. “Are you ok (Y/n)-san?” Hinata asked worriedly. I nodded.
“This happens often now.” Neji said turning to his younger cousin. She nodded but still looked worried.
“Do you feel a bit better now?” Neji asked. I nodded and stood up, following them back into the ramen shop. “Are you ok (Y/n)?” Teuchi said giving me a concerned look. I nodded. “I’m alright Teuchi-san.” I said with a small smile.
Ayame smiled from the back when she noticed that Neji and I were holding hands. “Are you two excited for tomorrow?” Teuchi asked looking at Neji and me. We looked at each other with a smile as we nodded in response.
I yawned and looked outside the shop to see that it was dark and probably late. I leaned my head on Neji’s shoulder and began to feel my eyelids close as a gentle kiss was placed on my forehead.

Neji’s PoV
I noticed that (Y/n) had fallen asleep and decided to take her home after excusing us. I carried her back to the compound and laid her in bed before I got changed and joined her.
