There is no greater sorrow
than to recall a happy time
when miserable.
Dante Alighieri
I chuckle and the person looks at me with amusement and curiosity. The memories brought back so much happiness and laughter, it helps me forget the present. Images keep shifting in my mind as I think of how to proceed. It has been the second night of us telling and I can't tell what the person is thinking yet. I smile and continue.

" So, what happened? " Sky asked as he showed me to the door. Aunty was standing behind, Sky was obviously unaware of her presence.
I smiled widely which made a small smile appear on his face. " I'll tell you in the evening, " saying so I headed up.
" So, what's up? " Olivia asked as soon as she opened the door. I laughed and hugged her. She did not respond at first, probably trying to balance herself along with my jumps, but soon she was jumping along with me as well.
" She said yes, " I said breathlessly.
" I knew it, I told you no one can refuse you, " she said squealing. I saw movement from the corner of my eye and saw Rebecca standing there.
" What happened? " she asked smiling. Soon Tina came out with a confused look, " Is everything alright? I heard a scream. "
" No, Olivia is just overly excited, " I said dismissing the matter. I didn't want them to know till then.
" So, Amaya, " Rebecca said slowly coming forward, " Sky, huh? " She wiggled her eyebrows like a little girl and I blushed. I did not want them to know. Why Bianca? Why?
" Oh it's umm, well I, " I was at a loss of words. What was I going to do?
" Yeah yeah, we know, " Tina winked causing me to laugh. " So, when do we get the treat? "
" Seriously guys? " I said rolling my eyes making my way to the room. The three kept trailing behind. " Come on, " Rebecca whined. This was the friendliest conversation with Rebecca till date. For me. Not for Olivia though. I needed time to make friends.
" Yeah yeah fine, I'll talk to Sky, " I said waving my hand.
" Finally, " they said before heading out and Olivia sitting beside me. I was still not comfortable with Tina and Rebecca knowing but I couldn't do anything about it then. When I told Olivia about the matter, she said I was too nervous and uptight about everything. I agreed to her then and told her the whole 'talk' we had. She was beyond amazed at the understanding nature of Sky's mother. We agreed that it must have been like that because she could relate to us. And then a new thought kept swirling in my mind- would my family be as understanding as his?

I saw a beaming Sky as I made my way to the roof in the evening. He was singing to himself, a song unknown to me. When he saw me he rushed and picked me up, circling around with me. This made me laugh so hard, the guy had seen too many movies and definitely knew how to capture my heart and live the moment.
