Life is a rainbow which also includes black.

Sky's POV
Life has it's strange ways. Of teaching us lessons. Of showing us our paths. Just when you think you have all the happiness in the world; just when you think nothing can go wrong, an unexpected turn comes making you fly through a loop hole of troubles and sadness.
Revenge. Man's worst enemy. Blinding them of reality, blinding them of facts. A grudge when held down for so long explodes one time with such intensity, that insanity takes over the person.
You know how in movies they show that when one person is in the hospital or is sick the times passes by in micro seconds? I always used to think that it was bogus. But that night, I understood what those people felt.
I sat on the cold metal seats lined together. The white walls and white hall seemed so lifeless. The air was thick with the smell of antiseptics. The doctor had said that the blood had dried up. I thanked God that the cut wasn't too deep. I rubbed my face and blew into my hands. I didn't have my jacket on and then I understood how cold it really was. I checked my phone to see the corner light blinking. I opened it and saw millions of calls from my mother.
Shoot,I was gonna be in trouble.
I called back and she picked it up even before the first ring completed.
" Where on earth are you? " she screamed on the phone. " Do you have any idea how scared we were? Was one phone call to hard to make? "
She kept on talking whilst I remained quiet. I wasn't in the mood to say anything. I was tired, I was cold. And most importantly, I was angry.
" A girl becomes so important to you that you don't even feel the need to call us and tell where you are? It's been almost six hours since you left. S-i-x hours Sky! How can you of all people be so irresponsible? "
She paused to take a breath and by her quivering voice, I knew she had a hell of a fright. When she didn't speak up anymore, I guessed it was my turn to speak.
" I am in Chittagong. I reached here at around 11. Steve and Oliver are with me. We are in the hospital and- "
I was interrupted by her gasp, " Hospital? What happened? "
" Amaya has heen admitted here, " I said in a robotic voice, " I didn't know where else to take here. She was burning with fever and- Anyways, I really don't wanna talk right now. I'll tell you everything once you get back. "
Saying so, I hung up the phone. My buddies came and sat beside me.
" It's gonna be fine bro. She'll be fine, " Steve said.
" Physically, yes. She will be. But mentally? " I said looking down. My jaws clenched at the thought of Bianca. She just had to go. She was a threat to Amaya and anyone who was a threat to Amaya enrolled their names on my enemy list.
" You guys better head home, " I said. " It's late and I don't want you staying up here all night. "
" Don't talk to us like we are your friends, " Oliver said, " We are brothers for life. So we are staying. "
" You need a covering Sky, " Steve said before making his way out. A few minutes later, he returned with a sweater in his hand. " Thanks, " I mumbled and put it on. I was debating whether I should tell her family or not. But then I decided to wait and speak with her about that.
The excitement had caught up on us and soon we dozed off in those cold metal chairs. I was awakened by someone jerking me. I opened my eyes to see the doctor. I stood up and he motioned for me to follow him. Oliver and Steve were yet asleep. I didn't wanna wake them up so I began to follow the doctor. He stopped near the washroom and said, " Get fresh a bit son. " I nodded and went in. I turned on the sink and splashed cold water in my face. It felt good, despite it being icy cold. I looked up to see the mess staring back at me. My eyes were red as if I were high. I rubbed them and splashed water again. I rinsed myself and came out drying myself with a tissue. Then I followed the doctor into his cabin. His name plate read, Dr. Roy.
He motioned for me to sit across from him and I obliged. He started to talk, " What's your name? "
" Sky, " I said.
" Full name, son. "
" Sky Thornton. "
" Son of Ian Thornton? "
I nodded, a bit confused. How did he know my father.
" That's why you looked familiar, " he said smiling, " I knew I had seen you before. You look so much like your mother. "
Yeah well, I get that a lot, I said mentally. I smiled and asked, " But Doctor, how is she? "
" Well, her thigh is done. But her fever is coming down normally. Hopefully by tomorrow or the day after that, you can take her home."
I let out a sigh of relief and slid down on the chair running my hand through my hair. She was going to be okay.
" But I need you to tell me what happened. Her wrists are almost black due to the lack of blood circulation and her thigh? A little more deep and she might have needed a major operation. "
I closed my eyes to clear out all the thoughts. She was safe and that was all I cared about then. " I need to speak to her before doctor, " I said looking at the paper weight lying on the table. I felt his eyes on me for a few more silent moments. Then he spoke, " It looks like a police investigation case Sky. The marks around her hand look like they have been tied the whole day. Now, who would do that, huh? Surely not the girl herself. "
" Look, I just need to speak to her before telling you anything. "
After a few more moments of silence, the doctor agreed and I came out. The boys were yet asleep.
Amaya, wake up dear. Wake up.

Sorry the chapter was boring. It was more of a filler. And hopefully my phase of no-good-things-to-write will pass by then. :3
Ciao.
