She whirled around to see me and her shocked expression told me everything I needed to know. She was in utter shock and had no clue where she was. She was in the spirit realm; everything was different for her. From now on she would be a soul with me and the other animals here. She would have to inhabit a body as would these other souls eventually.

"You...you." She stuttered and I smiled. Her confused expression slightly drew me closer and I felt a strange feeling to protect her. What the heck was going on here?

"Yes." I asked as I took a pace closer and caught her before she hit the ground. "Hey, Shadow. Come on; wake up." I said as she began to close her eyes.

There was a sharp intake of breath from her beautiful form. "Matsu. What's going on?" She asked as I helped her back to her feet. Also, why did it feel so good when she said my name?

"Shadow. Do you know what you are?" I could feel pain, anguish, and guilt at having to tell her what she is. Gorlorg didn't seemed phased though and it was quite annoying. Could she be... her voice brought me back to reality.

"What...," she paused. "What am I?" She asked while looking at her skin that now began to pale to a ghostly white.

"You." My voice broke with pain. Why? I screamed at myself. "Your a soul now." When I finished my sentence she feel back into my arms and began crying. Usually I don't care whatsoever but now? What was going on?

"Why? How? You!" She yelled and suddenly she pushed me away. "Why are you here? Are you a soul as well? Are you the reason that I'm a soul?" Her questions filled me with pain. I then realized that it probably was my fault she was a soul.

"I'm sorry!" I yelled in spite of myself.

"I can't ever accept your apology!" She screamed and started to run but the bear souls stood in front of her. "Let me go!" She screamed and fought with the bears as they stood calmly and looked down at her.

"Shadow." I said calmly while walking over. I grabbed her shoulders and she fought back harder. "Shadow. Shadow." I was starting to get upset. "Shadow!" I yelled and she whirled around and stopped struggling.

"Matsu why am I a soul?" Her voice was quiet and she sounded so confused. Her eyes were brimmed with tears and I couldn't help but feel bad. She had been through so much already. First, she started Shadowar training earlier then most, her mother was originally Shadowar then turned Skullian. Her father is a Samaraten and she doesn't know for sure how to go about her daily life because she was raised by her grandmother and grandfather. They may look young and everyone believes that she is their child but it isn't true. I'm her father. I knew that I would one day find her but I didn't realize how much I would care.

"Do you want to know something important about our family?"

"Our... family?" She asked and I shook my head with stupidity. I know I shouldn't have let her know but now it was to late.

"Yes, I am your father and you have been living with my parents your entire life."
