I looked around. Completely confused by what was going on. How was I going to escape?

"No, I think you're wrong about us." Said the red one.

"I'm sorry, my dear Shadow, we came to bring your mother back to us. We're Faries." The violet one said.

"I'm not going back! I was suppose to die that day! You weren't suppose to bring me back!" My mother snarled at them.

"Well, we're sorry but you have the perfect body type for the missions we needed you to accomplish." The dark green one said.

"May I ask what your names are?" I questioned.

"That's not important!" My mother raged but they appeared not to hear.

"My name's Blaze." Of course the red one said, well, now it's Blaze.

"I'm Pixie." The violet one said.

"Aren't Pixies-" I went to ask a question but the green one cut me off.

"Pixies are viscous! We are nothing like Pixies so never associate them with us!"

"I'm so sorry." I said quickly.

"My name is Wisp. Don't question why if you value your life." Well, she seems nice. She had spoken with the most threatening voice I've ever heard.

"Great, now you've been introduced, now leave!" My mother snarled.

"No, not until you come with us." Pixie said.

"I refuse to believe that you can't make up a story about me having a horrible accident and never being able to return." My mother said thickly.

"Well, that'd be hard considering we're immortal. Besides, you owe us your life. If it wasn't for us then you wouldn't have been saved." Wisp spoke quietly.

"Whatever, I refuse to go. Look, Ember and I are able to survive without the Silvermoon." She said and I was confused.

"What's the Silvermoon?" I asked my mother but the question fell upon deaf ears.

"You do realize that your life is fading and Ember is a Stalker. Of course he doesn't need the Silvermoon he preys upon humans." Blaze said.

"What's a Stalker?" Still, I was ignored.

"You know I'm standing right here, right?" Ember asked.

"Well yes, Goldy." Wisp sneered.

"I suggest you back down." My mother whispered threateningly.

"Well, we wouldn't have to if you had simply came with us but no, you just had to see your family. You just couldn't spare them from the pain of loosing you a second time." Wisp said throwing daggers with the glare she gave my mother.

"I'm just gonna go now." I said and tried to walk away. Ember followed me and that caused fear to spike beneath my skin.

"Don't run away so soon, little Shadow." He said and the want in his voice made me terrified.

"Please leave me alone." I said trying to walk faster. He matched my pace but even that didn't do anything. He was able to match my pace stride for stride, soon enough I realized he was beside me.

"Let me have a small taste of blood. I've never had Beastblood." He said.

"What's Beastblood?" I asked but my question was yet again ignored but this time wasn't so simple. He grabbed my arm and forced me to stop walking. Without warning he bit down on the nape of my neck.

"Ahhh!" I screamed out in pain.

"I'm sorry." He said and swiped his tongue over his bloody teeth. He just stared at my neck.

"What have you down?!" I snarled and felt the same thing happen as what happened earlier. My body started shifting. I screamed again. The agony was so overwhelming.

"What's happening to you?! You aren't a beast!" I heard Ember yell through the haze of agony. I suddenly felt the blood start oozing from my body.

"I told you not to." I barely whispered after my mind cleared some. Nothing was going to stop me from killing him. There was no Stestial and Mikal to come and save him. He's dying today.

"What are you?!" He yelled.

"How should I know, I've been this my entire life!" I snarled at him and he flinched back.

"Shadow?!" My mother's voice rang through my ears. To bad she hadn't come sooner. He was a dead man. I took a pace forward. My now straight jet-black hair falling in my face as I attacked him.

"You will die like a dog!" I raged and picked him up. I threw him and watched as his body flew through the air. I couldn't control what I was doing. I ran after him, not fully aware of the fact that my mother is running beside me.

He tried to get up but was to weak to move. I walked closer until I bent down in front of him. Leaning close to his ear I whispered, "Sorry you were born such an idiot. It would have served you better to listen. Now watch as I rip away your heart." I saw fear flash through his eyes as I sank my nails deep into his chest. I felt around for his heart before eventually just pulling out his heart and lung.

"How?" Was his last word before I watched the life fade from his eyes. I started to return to normal.

"Ahhh!" I screamed as my body returned to normal. The blood returned to my body and I saw my mother's shaking body.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't here to help raise you. I had no idea that your father hadn't been there otherwise I would have returned sooner."

"It doesn't matter, my father's parents would have taken me away anyways. No one would have been able to hide that." I replied and then noticed that the darkness was receding. "What happened to the others?" I asked.

"We shouldn't be seeing them again for quite awhile." She answered.

"Sounds good."

"SHADOW! SHADALAY!" I heard Matsu's voice yell.

"Papa!" I yelled and he quickly turned to face me.

"What happened to you two?!" He asked with the most worrying voice.

"I'm sorry, it was my fault. Did you know your daughter had the ability?" My mother asked.

"Yes. I knew but-" but my mother cut him off.

"I never want to see you around Shadow again!" She yelled at Matsu and with that she dragged me away from him.

"Papa!" I yelled but he just stood there. "Papa!" I yelled again and he fell down convulsing.
