Mikal is hilarious. "What do you mean?"
"I mean that right now, the person your talking to, is not Mikal. I'm Matsu." I started laughing.
"Matsu hold back." Shadow said quietly.
I instantly stopped laughing. "Wait. You actually believe him?"
"Yes, he isn't only Matsu but..." Mikal cut her off.
"Don't Shadow." He said with a deadly look in his eyes.
"Okay." She said while looking away.
"What's going on here?" I said with slight agitation.
"I told you." Mikal said before he continued walking.
"Stestial, don't pursue. If you knew the entire truth you would freak. Also, I would stop liking Matsu while you can." Shadow said and I was bewildered.
"What do you mean? Tell me the truth." I said as I jogged to catch up with her.
"I can't tell you now but I promise you will know the entire truth one day." She said and we caught up to Mikal. We kept walking until we came to Shadow's house.
"Bye Shadow." I said when she walked inside of her own house.
"Well Mikal?" I said and he turned to face me.
"What?" He asked curtly.
"Where is your house? I'm not going to my house tonight." I said and tried to hide my fear. My parents were deadly and I think that's another reason why they want me to get this special training.
"My house is none of your concern and where is your house?" He said and I felt a flash of hot fury.
"My house is none of your concern. Good night to you." I said and then stomped off in the direction of my abandoned shack in the woods.
