I woke up and walked to the bathroom slowly. I threw up again without waking Mikal. He seemed slightly saddened by my views on this matter. It wasn't the children themselves that worried me. It was the pain and agony I would go threw.

I cooked myself breakfast and finally looked down at my stomach when I was finished.

"You look beautiful."

"What?"

"You look beautiful."

"Oh..." my voice trailed off as I pondered what he had said. I know he sees me as perfect in every way but I'm not. My hair is messy and my skin is blemished. I'm not like other girls. I couldn't care less about my appearance. I never cared to make friends and I never saw the point in trying to fit in. Surprisingly though, I could make friends easily and I had great social skills.

"Why so glum?" Mikal's voice broke threw to me.

"What do you mean?"

"Why were you sad about the news?"

"I'm not, I'm worried for my own safety. I'm not afraid of dying if that's what you think, I'm afraid of leaving these children without a mother."

"But you won't, and who knows..." he trailed off waiting for me to take the bait.

"What?" I said sarcastically.

"Who knows if Matsu won't inhabit one of their souls. If he does then I know they'll be safe and nothing will happen to them. Matsu always had a way of knowing when something was going to happen, whether it be good or bad, he never knew."

"So you're wanting one of our children to have a soul inhabiting them?"

"Well they all will, naturally."

"I know, but you want a conflicting soul inside their body."

"I know it sounds bad but Matsu was the third best thing to happen to me?"

"What were the first two?!" I demanded.

"Calm down, you and the kids were always going to trump him."

"I'm glad you found happiness Mikal. Stestial, your children will be safe forever in my care."
