It's been three months since the last chapter. I felt like making a time skip because nothing major happens that you won't find out about in this chapter.

"Hey Stes, wake up." I threw myself out of the bed and ran for the bathroom. All I saw was a confused Mikal staring at me as I rushed past.

"Are you sick?" He asked softly as he rubbed soothing circles on my back and held my hair back.

"No." I replied meekly.

"Then why do you keep throwing up every morning. You've been doing this for the past few weeks."

Suddenly a bittersweet thought crossed my mind. Morning sickness. Cravings. An aching body.

"Can we go to a hospital today?"

"Why?"

"Because I need to get something checked out." I replied back.

"Um... okay, sure." He said and we headed for the door. My birthday has passed and now I'm eighteen. Mikal was already eighteen and his birthday will come and pass soon.

"Thank you." I said and grabbed a towel. I wiped my mouth as I stood up. Walking slowly back to the bedroom I grabbed some clothes off the hallway table. Mikal had been folding laundry so I had some clothes laying cleanly folded.

I may have forgot to mention the Mikal and I got married and, of course, moved in together. We've been having fun. We haven't really been going to work but we'll have to soon.

I got dressed in our room and walked back downstairs. Mikal was cooking some bacon with French toast. "Here you go, honey." He said and handed me a plate full of bacon.

"Where's my French toast?" I complained.

"With your weak stomach I don't think you need anything resulting with dairy. I used some eggs and milk to make the French toast." He explained.

"Fine." I said and slowly ate my bacon. After we ate we headed for the hospital. We walked to the hospital and quickly were seen.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" The doctor asked.

"Mikal, can you wait outside?" I asked him. He nodded and walked outside.

"So, what seems to be the problem Mrs. Sai?" The doctor, Mrs. Angelica, asked.

"I came here because I've been experiencing some symptoms."

"What symptoms?"

"Morning sickness, cravings, and an aching body." I said.

"Hmmm, you may be pregnant. When was the last time you were active?"

"Uh...?"

"I'm sorry, when was the last time you and your husband had s-"

"Please don't finish that!" I interrupted her.

"Sorry, but I need your answer."

"Um... this is awkward. Okay, two months ago, after our wedding."

"How long have you been experiencing morning sickness?"

"About four weeks." I answered her awkwardly.

"Hmmm, would you be okay if we had an ultrasound done today. We can get one set up if you would like."

"Um... okay, how much will is cost?"

"What is your maiden name?"

"My parents are Devece and Castaveil Murderingcon."

"Oh, it will cost you nothing." The doctor said hurriedly.

"Why?"

"Because, the Sai family is known for their medical knowledge and the Murderingcon family is known for their defense-"

"Yeah. Yeah. I'm apart of both, I know that. I just figured it would cost something." I interrupted rudely. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that." I tried to reconcile with her.

"No, no, you are completely right. You are apart of both families and I should have known."

"Um... when will the ultrasound take place?"

"Right now, if you wish?"

"Sure."

She then typed a code on the nearby keypad and a panel on the wall opened to reveal the ultrasound instrument. "Now, this may be a bit cold." She warned as she rubbed some gel stuff on my stomach. It was cold but not too cold.

On the monitor screen she looked at something but I couldn't make anything out. Suddenly I began to hear a sound.

"What is that?"

"It's your children's heartbeat." She answered. I know she some something about my child's heartbeat but her voice was drowned out when I heard child.

I smiled widely and called for Mikal. He walked in and looked confused before the sound reached his ears. "Is that what I think it is?"

"Yes." I said and his eyes glistened with tears of joy.

"So that means you're-"

"Yes." I said.

"I can't believe it!" He said excitedly and came closer. He held my hand gently and smiled widely. He then leaned down beside my ear and whispered, "Just wait till we get home." I giggled as my smile brightened even more.

"So, you'll be having triplets."

"What?" I asked and all excitement vanished in that one second. My heart stopped beating for a few split seconds. Fear engulfed me and I would hesitate to say shock wasn't part of it. A mixture of fear and shock took over.

"You'll be having triplets." She repeated.

"I don't know if I can. How is that even possible?"

"What do you mean?"

"As far as I know, everyone in my family only has one child at a time."

"Oh, may you call your mother that way she can join me in my office? I need to ask her some questions."

"Um... yeah, sure." I said and had Mikal call her outside of the room.

He walked back in a few moments later and looked at me. "She said she would be here but needs to tell you some very important things. She also said that she wants you restrained when she tells you."

"What?" I asked quietly trying to comprehend what he said.

"Did you hear me?" He questioned.

"Yes, I just don't think I want to."
