I heard someone scream so without thinking, I stuck my hand out in the middle of the lift doors to stop them from closing.

"Thank you," he said as he got in. He pressed the button for the 21st floor.

"You're welcome," I smiled and said.

After the exchange with the stranger, I returned back to cleaning myself up.

"Oh, gwenchana? Did something happen?" The stranger enquired.

"Aniyo. I must have caught something in my eyes from the wind. I'm ok. Thank you for asking." I replied, not wanting to have to explain everything to him.

"Ah de. It's ok." He smiled and then returned to looking straight ahead.

After I had finished cleaning myself up, I started to twist and turn the pendant on my necklace as I examined the stranger. He was fairer than me and was handsome. He had a medium build and had beads of sweat all over his exposed skin. His arm muscles were protruding out of the vest he was wearing, and he wore a cap.

'Probably just got back from the gym,' I thought. He must have noticed me examine him because he asked me "are sure everything is ok? Is there something wrong?"

I snapped out of my daydream. "What do you mean?" I asked back.

"Nothing, you've just been staring off into space and you just missed your floor," he stated. I realised then that I must have just blanked out the lift voice. He pressed the button for the 20th floor as he got out.

"Thank you," I told him.

"Don't worry about it," he said, "just make sure that you get off on your floor this time," he smiled as he said this.

"I'll make sure I do," I smiled back.

He extended his hand out and said, "I'm Wonshik by the way."

I took his hand, shook it and replied, "nice to meet you. I'm Honey."

"I'll see you around then..." he said.

"Probably, I just moved into my friend's apartment below," I said.

"That's cool. I've got to go now. My hyungs are probably worried," he said.

"Oh OK. See you then," I said not realising how late it had gotten. He walked off towards his dorm as the lifts doors closed. The doors opened again on the 20th floor and I walked towards Min's apartment, dragging my feet.

"Where were you? I tried calling to find out if you came back alright," Min scolded as she gave me a once over.

"I'm fine, Min. I walked it back here and when I got to the lift, I missed my floor so I had to wait for the other passenger to get off so I could come to my floor. I'm sorry for making you worry," I said as I hugged her.

"As long as you're fine and no-one did anything to harm you. Anyway, sit down. I've made your favourite. Mincemeat pasta with tomato and basil," Min introduced the dish with finesse. My stomach growled. I didn't realise how hungry I was. "It looks really good. You should have been a chef rather than an events manager," I said to her.

"It's only by studying to be an events manager that I got this place," Min confessed.

"Oh right," I said immediately regretting my words. Min knew all about pressures from parents. Where my mum was quite easy going and let me choose whatever profession I wanted, Min's gave here 3 options: doctor, lawyer or pharmaceuticals. She made a deal with them in order for her to study to be an events manager, she would work for CEO Hwang after she graduated. She adored him... he was so adorable and so gently spoken. They agreed straight away. After all, he is a family friend so she'd be protected no matter what.

We ate in silence because we were both exhausted to speak anymore. We ended up tidying up straight away and just going straight to sleep after having a shower and brushing our teeth. I dropped off as soon as my head hit the pillow.
