2 WEEKS LATER
"We're going to be sad to see you go, Honey-ah." CEO Hwang stated.
"I'm sad to have to leave but there's some things I have to take care of in England. Sorry samchon. I'll visit you whenever I have a holiday. Does that sound like a good deal?" I replied.
"Call." He smiled at me. We shook hands. It was done. It was finally done. I paid the final amount of rent to Min. I finished my job and handed all the details over to my successor. It was a really jolly man. I could tell that VIXX would be happy with him. He seemed friendly and like he would take care of them well. I'm glad I handed my job over to someone who could handle them.
I headed out to the cafe nearby and got myself an iced mocha. Now I know what you're thinking... a cold drink in January? She must be nuts. But believe me when I say, it feels so good! Especially when it cooled your insides. I sipped my mocha as I walked back to the apartment. Even though it was cold, the sun shone bright. It was a good day today. After being in South Korea, for almost 3 years, I was finally on my way back to England. My birth place. My home. I was planning on surprising my mum. It's weird think that I was 16 when I left. I'm 19 now. I feel like I've learnt a lot and grown up. I wasn't going to keep the past from letting me move forwards. My future is uncertain, that's for sure but if I know one thing, it's this. Jun Gi loves me... and I love him.
After Min heard that we were engaged, she immediately called up her tutor and said that she wouldn't be in for two weeks. She said that she had to plan a celebration party.
Jun Gi booked plane tickets for us so that we could tell our parents about our engagement. He said that even though he had already asked permission from my mum, he wanted to make a promise to her in front of me. He wouldn't tell me what it was.
VIXX continued with their lives as normal. To be honest, they didn't have much of a schedule and are free until March so they spent most of the days at mine, theirs or their families. There were the odd few days where they went to the studio to do work. I heard some of the compositions. They were really good. They had a good beat. But as usual, Wonshik, the almighty perfectionist composer, wasn't happy with it and said it didn't sound good. I'd agree with him but what do I know about music? I've only been following a bunch of musicians for the last 2 years.
I finally reached Min's place. Now I know I'm not supposed to be here yet because of the 'surprise' party... but I've got to pack. I'm leaving for England tonight by the way. I unlocked the door and tried my best to tip toe in. Min was whisking a mixture quite briskly. I'm guessing it was a cake? It was a weird shade of navy. Unfortunately, Min's eagle eyes saw me.
"Honey.. What are you doing here? And where's Jun Gi? I thought you two were together?" She said, panicked. She looked around for Jun Gi, I'm guessing.
I turned my back on her and covered my eyes. "I'm not looking! I swear. I covered my eyes. I'm going to my room!" I confirmed as I swayed my way to my room. I stuck a hand out and looked for the handle blindly. Pushing my door open, I rushed in. I found that the boxes were already half packed. I looked around but I couldn't find anyone. I shrugged and started to pack. I was sure that I already packed them.
After I finished all my packing, I began on my wardrobe. I grabbed all my clothes together by the hangers and threw them on my bed. Turning back around, I saw two suspicious people trying to hide, I'm guessing under my clothes. I crossed my arms and smirked. I tapped my foot against the floor. They looked up with a look of cowering fear. I raised an eyebrow.
"What... are you doing in my wardrobe?" I asked. They grinned, nervously.
"Erm... we were helping to clean up?" Hongbin answered.
"In my wardrobe?" I questioned not believing a word they were saying.
"This isn't what it looks like," Hyuk blurted.
"And what does it look like Hyuk? Because to me it looks like you got caught doing something you shouldn't have been doing. Weren't you two supposed to be helping Min?"
"Oh! Actually, I think I hear Min calling me. I'd better get going." Hongbin stood up and fled out of the room. I stared sternly at Hyuk, waiting for his excuse.
"Well? Are you going to tell me why you're in here instead of helping Min?" Hyuk kept his mouth shut and looked down. I grabbed his ear and pulled him out.
"Ow! APPPPPAAAAAA!!! YAH!" He pulled my hand off his ear and sat on the bed. I looked at him with the same look of indifference I had a minute ago.
"You have 30 seconds to tell me before I beat the living daylights out."
"Why are you so violent?"
"20 seconds."
"Yah! Wae?"
"10 seconds."
"How did it get down to 10 seconds so quickly?"
I held my hand up. "5, 4, 3, 2..." I counted down on my fingers.
"A-arasso! I'll tell you!" He held his hands up in defeat. I placed my arms on either side of him and looked him straight in the eye. He flinched back.
"Go on."
"We... asked Min if we could give you something to remember us by. So... we kind of snuck in here to see what kind of things you like."
"See... that wasn't so hard now was it? All you had to do was ask." I sat down beside him.
"What were you thinking?"
"I don't know."
"Really, Hyuk. Really? Almost 2 years, we've been together and you picked up nothing?"
"You make it sound like you've been in a relationship with him." Jun Gi interrupted. My head snapped towards the door to see Jun Gi leaning against the frame.
"To be honest, Jun Gi, they're a handful. I feel sorry for their new manager."
"YAH!" Hyuk bellowed. I began laughing. "Come on! You're exaggerating now. We're not that bad!"
"Oh yeah? You try waking up to 5 drunk morons and a Satan maknae who've wrapped you in a blanket burrito and then tossed you into a pool in the cold weather."
"What?!" Jun Gi almost slipped from the shock.
"Oh, don't worry about that. I returned the favour back to them for that." I reassured him.
"And how did you do that Honey?" Jun Gi asked, curiously.
"She made us sit in the freezing pool with nothing but trunks for 5 minutes." Hyuk grumbled.
"Nothing... but trunks?!" Jun Gi's eyes widened with shock.
"You had a choice. It was that or let me choose your haircut for the next album. So quit complaining."
"You could have compromised." Hyuk stated.
"I did compromise. I let you wear trunks. AND the punishment was carried out after everyone in the hotel had gone to sleep. I mean, originally my plan was to make you go in butt naked while the pool was full of people, but then I remembered that you're idols." I giggled. Hyuk's eyes narrowed.
"Hyuk! I need you in the kitchen!" Min yelled.
"Better go Hyuk. You're needed." I pointed towards the door.
Jun Gi closed the door after him.
"Need help packing?" He asked.
