A never-ending bruise, from the top of my spine to the bottom, coloured with a symphony of crimson, violet, black and blue. I scanned the main living area. Min was in the kitchen with her back to me. Perfect. Now's my chance. I sprinted into my room. Luckily, my bed room was located next door to the bathroom so I didn't have to go far. Urgently, I scrambled my room for a long-sleeved jumper and a pair of high waist jeans, all the while praying that Min wouldn't barge in and see the bruise. Hoping that she wouldn't question it if she ever did accidentally see it. I found one right at the back of my closet. Yanking it on as soon as possible, I then set out to wrestled with the pair of jeans, trying to get them up my legs all the while not trying to fall over.
THUD!!!
"Owwwwww!!!!" I yelped in pain. Min came rushing in.
"Are you OK?" she asked, concerned. However, upon seeing the state of me, she burst into laughter. What had happened was, in a rush to get my jeans on, I had stood up to quickly for my body to realise and had fallen on to my bed then off my bed and was therefore upside down. Both of my legs were in the air with one of them bending across the other. It looked as though I was doing a handstand.
"Wow! Just... wow Min! That's very nice of you. Rather than helping me up, you're laughing at me," I said while pouting.
"I'm sorry Hun. It's just funny the way you're positioned." Min contained to laugh while she helped me up.
"Meanie," I said, and then I stuck my tongue out at her.
"Awww I'm sorry hun," Min apologised again and then gave me a hug. She pulled back.
"Honey, what's..." I followed her line of sight. My jumper had risen up my back, exposing the damage I wanted to hide. I pulled it down quickly.
"It's nothing, Min." I adjusted my clothes and then went towards the kitchen. I was glad to see my coffee waiting there for me. I drunk it in one gulp and then headed out. Just as I was about to leave for work, I heard Min say "Honey, have you forgotten something?"
I turned around and padded my torso. "I don't think I have," I muttered. Out came Min from my room with my bag in one hand and my phone in the other.
"Ooohhh," I said slamming my palm against my forehead, "I can't believe I forgot them."
I went towards Min and took my phone and bag from her. "Thanks Min, I don't know what I'd do without you." I gave her a hug and a peck on the cheek.
"Don't worry about it. Now get going or you're going to be late."
"As I have said before, Min" referring back to our prior conversation, "I shall try but if I can't then please don't be upset, OK Min?"
"I'll try not to be," Min said with a smirk, "anyways bye now."
I chuckled and said "bye," and with that thought I left for work.
Within a few minutes, I was at VIXX's dorm. I knocked on the door gently. I could hear screaming and laughter from the other side of the door. 'Aish, these boys,' I thought. I knocked again and again and again, until finally after 10 minutes Hyuk opened the door.
"Sorry Honey, we had a bit of a situation." He looked over his shoulder towards the living room and chuckled. I peeked over, in confusion, towards where he was looking and saw Hongbin, on his front, sprawled out on the floor screaming for help with Hakyeon on top holding Hongbin's hands back, while Wonshik was laughing blatantly at him with his contagious laughter. I smirked at the scene and hurried into the kitchen to store my bag away. Hyuk followed and stopped at the entrance of the kitchen. I left my bag on the counter and then walked towards the front room and looked towards the boys with folded arms. My eyes scanned the room for my assailant. He was nowhere to be found.
