"Honey!" I could hear them calling out to me. I was being taken to a secluded part of the park. My self defense training kicked it. I elbowed him in the stomach and then twisted his hand backwards.
"Ah! Ah! Honey! Apa! Apa! Apaaaa!!!!" I recognised the voice. Then I looked at the face. I let his hand go. He cradled it like you would a new born child. "Why do you always attack me?"
"Shouldn't have come at me from behind then." I retaliated. I went to sit near the base of a tree. He followed me.
"I'll keep that in mind."
"Does it hurt much?" I held his hand while trying my best not to hurt him further. I twisted it as gently as I could.
"Ah!" He exaggerated. I swatted his hand away. I gave him a dirty look.
"I'll tell you something. If being a singer doesn't work out, you could always go into the acting field." I giggled.
"Ha ha. Very funny." I stuck my tongue out at him. We sat in silence for a bit then he asked the question that I'd been dreading.
"Why did you run away from us?" I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want explain. I wanted to be left alone. That's why I ran. There was a whole bunch of reasons. I just couldn't find the right one. He turned my head towards him.
"Honey, you know that we care about you right?" I avoided his gaze. "If you're having a hard time, lean on us. We'll help or if you don't want to talk to us, you have Min... and as much as I hate to admit it, Jun Gi." Hyuk explained. He brought a hand up and caressed my cheek. "Just... don't keep it inside you until it consumes you. That's where negative thoughts come from."
I was used to this though. It's what I was best at doing. It was what I was most comfortable with. I never wanted to shared my problems with anyone. I figured my problems weren't as big as anybody else's. That it'd be better to just keep them to myself and deal with them later.
He wrapped his arms around me and stroked my arm, comforting me. I felt tears beginning to stream from my eyes. I wiped one onto my finger and looked at it in amazement. I was never really much of a crier to begin with. So what had changed?
Slowly and silently, I began to sob against his chest. I wrapped my own hands around him and tightened my hold. He continued to stroke me, only this time he had moved onto my hair.
"I'm here, don't worry. Just let it all out. Everything will be fine. Don't worry. I'll make sure of it." He said occasionally.
We sat there for a long time. His comforting me, me becoming an unravelled mess in front of him. I looked at him with swollen eyes. He smiled. "Feeling better?" He asked as he moved the hair that had fallen in front of my face out of the way.
I nodded slowly. I felt better after letting it out. Like this great burden had been lifted off my shoulders. He continued to smile as he placed his hand on my cheeks. He started edging in closer. Carefully calculating his actions. He took a brief chance at my lips before maintaining eye contact with me. A hand was placed at my neck. The other placed somewhere near where we were sat. He continued to lean in closer. I closed my eyes. Scared of what he was going to do. Just about when he was 1mm away, I heard Min and the rest of our possee. I heard him tut.
"There you are! Over here kids! We found her!" I heard Hakyeon shout. I could see Min marching over. She looked like she was about to kill me. I hid behind Hyuk.
"Don't think I didn't see you, Bae Honey because I did! Either you get your ass out here or I bulldozer my way to you."
"No! Sshi eo!!" I whined, nasally. I grabbed the back of his shirt tightly.
"I'm going to count to 3. If you're not in front of me by the time I've finished..."
"Min." Jun Gi interrupted. "She's safe. That's all that matters. Got it?" His eyes began to droop.
"Hmph." She crossed her arms across her chest in a huff.
"Got it Min?" He repeated once more.
"Yeah." She replied.
"Shall we go back home now? We could watch a film or something." Someone suggested.
"Arasso. Let's go!" I began to walk the opposite way.
"Oh no Honey, you're coming with me," Min said as she grabbed me the collar of my top just as I was going to leave."You boys go home and we'll be right behind you."
"Are you sure you don't want us to come with you?" Hongbin suggested.
I opened my mouth to reply but Min beat me to it.
"No boys, It's fine. Just get a taxi or something. We'll see you at home. I think Honey needs a few minutes away from you guys."
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Jaehwan said with sass.
"It can mean whatever you want it to mean Jaehwan oppa..." Min said, after which she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Ok. We'll see you at home then. Stay safe and don't lose each other." Hakyeon said as he was leaving.
"Ara, oppa. Ara!" Min replied. She was just about to walk away with me as her hostage when she remembered something. She turned around and stated "oh, and oppas..." the members turned around. "Be nice," she finished.
"Aren't we always?" Hyuk stated.
"You know what I MEAN Hyuk..." Min implied with emphasis.
"DON'T WORRY...!!!" Hyuk screamed as he walked down the pathway with his hands on Jun Gi's shoulder.
"WE'LL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR FRIEND HERE... HONEY-AH," Hongbin added.
AS WE WERE WALKING TO THE CAR ON THE WAY HOME
"You mind telling me what's going on?" Min asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked back, confused.
"What was that back there? At the restaurant?"
I looked at her even more confused.
"You and Jun Gi. You were acting strange with one another like you didn't want to be in each other's presence. It was strange."
"Oh that. That's nothing. You must have imagined it." I dismissed.
"You sure...?"
"Hmmmhm. Don't worry about it. If there was tension between us, we would have told you." Actually that was the thing. We didn't tell Min. Because we knew what she was like. She'd try to get involved and get us to sort it out and speak our minds. She'd see herself as our 'therapist'.
We got into the car and put our seat belts on. Min started the car and she began to drive. I leaned back in the passenger's seat and closed my eyes.
"Arasso. As long as it's nothing. I just hope the past hasn't affected your friendship with Jun Gi. It wasn't his fault to begin with and you know it." Min commented while looking straight ahead.
"Min," I sat up and turned towards her, narrowed my eyes at her. "Can we not bring up the past especially that incident." I snapped. "I don't want to remember it." I muttered.
"Alright. Just making sure you know."
"Min," I said sternly. She gripped the steering wheel tightly and took a deep breath.
"Alright, alright, I won't bring it up again." We had driven half way to home when something clicked in my head. Jun Gi was alone. With VIXX. What if he says something he isn't supposed to? What if he blurts out my secret? What if he...
"We need to get home now(!)" I almost screamed.
Min looked at me confused.
"Just drive quickly, please Min. Don't ask any questions. Just trust me."
"Jun Gi..." I whispered.
