"Unnie, what are you doing here? I thought you'd be asleep."
"I was just about to when Leo came knocking on my door. Quite frantically. He said that there was someone who needed my help." I looked at him with a blank face.
"He must be wrong. There's no one here who needs help."
"You expect me to believe that?" She said as she yanked me onto a chair that she had set up, complete with lining on the floor to stop stray hairs from getting onto the hotel's cream carpet. She wrapped the hairdresser's cape on to me tying it around my neck.
"Noona, can you fix it?" I heard Leo ask.
"Give me a few minutes Leo. I'll manage to fix it and I'll make it look stylish too." She smiled at him and began her work.
30 MINUTES LATER
It was done. She had given me a graduated bob haircut. Surprisingly, it suited me. I looked at her in amazement.
"Wow unnie! You're so talented. Thank you." I held her tight.
"Next time, don't just hack your gorgeous hair. Come to Unnie and I'll sort it out for you. Do you understand? Promise me that you'll do that."
"Arasso unnie." She packed all her things up and headed out the door. "Sorry for making you come so late at night."
"Don't be," she replied. "Just make sure you keep your promise." After she left, I crashed down onto my bed, face down, arms at the side of my torso.
"Kwenchana?" I heard Leo say in the quietest voice ever. He had been so quiet. I had forgotten that he was still here.
"De. Gomawoyo." I muffled. There was no use in getting angry at him. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"Who..." He began as he cautiously sat on my bed, back towards me.
"He..." I began, trying to carefully choose my words. I leaned on my elbows. "He's an ex-boyfriend."
"Ex-boyfriend? You dated him?" His voice betrayed him. The shock was evident in it.
I sat up and sighed. "Yes. Believe it or not. I used to date him."
"So what happened?" He asked, curiously.
"I'd... I'd rather... not talk about it." I murmured.
"Arasso..." we sat in silence for a while.
"So..." we both began. We laughed.
"You go first." He indicated.
"So, I know it's a little awkward but... do you hate me?"
He choked on his spit. "Hate you?" He did a small chuckle. "What makes you say that?"
I made myself comfortable, unconsciously moving closer to him. I didn't realise that he had tensed up. "You act weird and cold to me. Is it because I've done something to offend you? If I have then I honestly am sorry!" I lay a hand on his arm. "I don't mean to offend people, I'm just very blunt. If I don't like something, then I'll say it." I babbled.
"It's not that you offended me... I just don't know how to act around you considering the first time I met you, I attacked you."
"Thanks for bringing that up, I had almost forgotten about that. Give me your forehead. Let me give you a ttakbam as payback."
"You want to give me a ttakbam for almost killing you?" He asked, sarcastically.
"Ahhh but you didn't kill me though. I'm still alive aren't I? Imagine if you had. Min would have killed you and then resurrected you just to kill you again."
"Let's not imagine that. She's scary sometimes. How is it possible for an 18 year old to scare a 23 year old?"
"I don't know to be honest but you're living proof of it!" I announced. "Stop trying to avoid the punishment." I shuffled closer to him and held my hand up ready to give him a ttakbam. He brought his forehead forwards, pulling his fringe back. WHACK! went my finger.
"Ow!" He screamed out as he bent over in pain, his hands holding his mildly bruised his forehead.
"Na ah. Don't think you're getting just one." I pulled him up and made him sit straight.
I held my finger up to his forehead again.
"Ah jamkkanman! Honey!" He protested. WHACK!
"Last one Leosshi." He bravely held his forehead up, tears had began to fall from his eyes. WHACK! He groaned and fell over in pain, clutching his forehead.
"Wimp." I muttered. He got up and ran to the bathroom.
"Yah mi chyeo sseo?!!" He came marching back to me. Then I saw it. There it was. A big red finger mark straight in the middle of his forehead. It definitely couldn't be ignored. I began to snigger. "I'm filming tomorrow!"
"What are you complaining about? It's not noticeable at all! If anything, it's an improvement! And besides, you're going to have make up on tomorrow. No-one will notice."
"Neon jug-eoss-eo!" He said, through gritted teeth. I jumped up on my bed in an attempt to get away from him.
He jumped on my bed to catch me. He chased me around for a while then I hid under the blanket. I began to laugh. I wrapped myself up with the blanket so he couldn't get to me. I failed. Miserably. He found an opening towards the bottom and crawled in. He straddled me and my arms attacked him. He fell off the bed. We both laughed. I did a deep sigh and closed my eyes. I hadn't laughed like this in ages. I began to concentrated on my breathing and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep in the foetal position.
