I sighed as I scrolled through Instagram, bored as ever. Stokeley went to his grandmothers house for the weekend and that left me bored as hell. I realize that I never really hang out with my friends anymore.
I'm supposed to be hanging out with Gazzy, Deigo, Michael, Daniel, and Gus later. But that's not until like four, and it's eleven right now.
I got so bored and in my feelings that I decided to record a song for soundcloud.
I posted it on my youtube, instagram, and soundcloud and within minutes my phone was blowing up.
I started looking through my comments and it was nothing but love and support. People telling me how much they have missed me and how much they can relate to my music. I just love knowing that I'm helping people and touching their hearts.
It makes me feel like everything I've been through was all worth it, just to know I made some people feel better. I made someone smile.
My phone started ringing and I didn't recognized the number, so I didn't answer. A few minutes later, the same number called again. This time I answered.
"Hello?"
" Hi, this is Jake Wilkos and I work for Lucious Lyon. He wants to schedule a meeting for you to be signed to his label, " He spoke confidently.
"Uh, Can I call you back?" I asked nervously.
" It's now or never, kid."
"Okay well let me put you on hold for one minute, " I put him on hold and ran out of my room, to my mom and dad's room. " Oh my god! Guess what just happened!"
" You started your period?" My mom asks.
I gave her a look, " What? No, Lucious Lyon wants to sign me to his label!" I jumped up and down. "Me! Of everyone in the world."
" Well what did you say?" My dad smiled at me.
" I put him on hold." I bit my lip nervously
" Go tell him you wanna get signed, " My mom ordered me, looking at me like I was stupid.
I ran back into my room and took Jake off of hold, "When would you like to schedule this meeting?"
" Thursday at 3 pm?" He asked after a second.
" That's perfect."
"Okay, see you then." He hung up.
My whole day just got turned around. Wait until everyone finds out. I'm going to make bank!
