"May I present to you, the graduating class of 2017!" Mr. Lincoln announced as everyone started yelling, cheering and whistling.
I smiled to myself. I did it. I graduated high school. I am somebody.
𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧...
"It should take about to weeks maximum for us to find him. But you have to meet all of these requirements," Liam, a cps worker said as he passed me packet of paperwork.
"Okay," i took the paperwork from him and began to read over it.
1. Reliable housing 2. Stable, reliable job 3. Clean of any and every drug Etc.
"I will schedule a meeting with a judge on Tuesday of next week. I'll call you when we know the time," he stood up and walked away.
I collected my coffee, papers and backpack and headed to my car. I have so much to do.
𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧...
"So what do you wanna do?" My mom asked me as she read over the paperwork again.
"Well I have to get a house or something, but i want to stay close to you," i sighed. "And I have to get paperwork from the label saying that this is a reliable job or whatever. And right now I got like 200 hundred thousand something in the bank. And I got cash in my room so that's like 300 hundred thousand," i rambled on. "I think that should be enough right?"
"That's good, i cant wait to meet Aiden. How old is he?" My dad asked as he nodded his head.
"He just turned two," i said quietly. I can't believe I missed his birthday.
"Oh he's still a baby. " My mom cooed. "I have a few friends that work there, i could see about getting him sooner if you'd like?"
"Yes please!" I jumped up, "I could never ask you guys for anything but thats like my baby, i took care of him. Anything you can do would help, " I pleaded.
"Anything, son," my dad smiled at me.
"Thank you," i kissed my mom's forehead and hugged my dad," i love you guys." I ran out the living room and out of the front door. I'm in a rush and I have to Stokeley's house to tell him the news. And I have to talk to him about something.
I got up to his room and found him watching adventure time. "Hey princess, " he smiled once he saw me.
"Hey babe."
I walked over to his dresser and opened my drawer. I grabbed a pair of pajama pants and started changing, "so I talked to the guy today about getting my brother and my parents have connections so it will most likely happen. " I started, "but i have to get a house and stuff." I sat down on next to him.
"What can I do to help?" He asked as he rubbed my shoulder.
"Just be here," i smiled. "And there is something i wanted to talk to you about," i turned to face him.
I'm scared what if he says no?
"What's up?" He furrowed his brows.
"Well, we have been together for like seven almost 8 months, so I was wondering if maybe you would want to consider moving in with me when I get this house?"
He looked at me with a blank expression and I instantly felt stupid for even bringing it up.
"I mean you don't have to if you dont want to, you could just stay here and come over sometimes," i said quickly
"No, no... I want to," he smiled, " I'm just trying to figure out why the hell you would want to be with me, let alone live with me?"
"Cause we are going to get married and be a family one day," i grabbed his hands in mine.
"I love you, jah."
I smiled, "I love you, too."
He kissed my head, "Now lay down and go to sleep," he giggled.
I snuggled into him and slowly drifted to sleep, thinking about the beautiful future ahead of me.
