"So, how many bedrooms is it?" My mom asked as I packed up my clothes.
"It's four bedrooms. Well actually I think it's more but I wasn't worried about how many rooms it had. I just wanted to be in the same neighborhood so, I'm close to home," I smiled.
"I'm excited to finally meet him," my dad exclaimed from my desk chair.
"I'm going to miss this place," I sighed taking one last look at my bedroom.
"And it will always be here for you to come home to,"my mom smiled.
"Thank you guys," I teared up. "For everything. You guys gave me this whole future and i am so grateful for that."
"We love you sehseh, and that will never change," my mom smiled.
"I can't believe I'm a grandpa," my dad laughed.
"I can't believe I'm a dad. And I didn't even have to break a condom to get here," I joked.
We all laughed together," you are something special." My mom smiled.
I smiled at her and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I have to go unpack everything, they are dropping off Aiden in a few hours, and y'all know Stokeley is lazy as hell," I groaned.
"Okay, stay safe and call every day," my mom teared up.
"And don't forget game nights,"my dad smiled.
"Or Sunday night dinners," my mom cried.
"I won't," I smiled and collected my things before heading to my car.
I drove to the down the street and stopped in the driveway of my new home. I can't believe how far I have come.
"Hey baby," I opened the front door and was greeted by the mouth watering smell of fried chicken.
"Oh hey," stokeley yelled from the kitchen.
"Oh my god that smells so good! Why didn't you tell me you could cook?" I sat at a bar stool.
"Cause this and spaghetti is the only things I can cook,"he chuckled.
I shook my head," that ain't it Stoke, momma can cook so why can't you?"
"Cause momma always cooked so I didn't have to unless she was sick or something," he shrugged.
"Spoiled ass," i chuckled.
"I know you ain't calling me spoiled," he laughed.
"Shut up. I'm not spoiled," I rolled my eyes.
"Yes you are!"
"How?" I crossed my arms
"Baby, I spoil you. Your mom spoils you, my mom, your dad, our friends, should I go on?" He laughed.
"No cause I'm not spoiled," I shrugged ," I'm spoilt."
