"Dada?" Aiden asked as the social worker carried him into my house.
He remembers me. I smiled and reached for him ,"yeah it's me baby."
"Here's all his belongings ," Janice the social worker handed me a small diaper bag . It was the size of a small purse.
I looked at her than at the bag," that's all?"
"He was a foster child, what do you honestly expect?" She sighed as she shrugged her shoulders.
"I'll go shopping for him tomorrow," I smiled. "I missed you baby boy." I smiled as Aiden and kisses his forehead. I don't know what I expected. Why would he come with so much?
He smiled at me with his fingers in his mouth.
I looked behind me to find Stokeley hiding in the corner," come say hi." I waved him over. "Janice this is my boyfriend I was telling you about, Stokeley this is Janice."
"Hi, nice to meet you," he shook her hand and smiled.
"And this is Aiden," I smiled.
"Hi Aiden," he smiled at him.
Aiden buried his head in my chest," no no no," he babbled.
"This is pokeley baby, can you say hi?" I laughed.
"No, no, no!" He shoved his head deeper in my chest.
"I don't think he likes me," Stokeley frowned.
Aiden looked at him for a few more seconds before stuffing his face fully in my shoulder.
I tried to hide the laugh forming on my lips but it was nearly impossible, "you are a little scary looking." I shrugged.
"How am I scary?" He frowned.
"It's the face tats," Janice intervened.
"You have face tats too," he pointed out.
"Yeah but me and Aiden picked these out together," I laughed.
"Eat eat?" Aiden looked at me with his big brown eyes.
"Yeah of course. What do you want to eat?" I asked.
"You want McDonald's?" Stokeley asked.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Aiden smiled.
"Stokeley I want him to have a real dinner tonight, " I sighed.
"Are you gonna tell him no?" He smiled.
"Aiden , baby, no McDonald's tonight okay?" I looked into his big brown eyes.
His eyes watered and his little bottom lip started quivering. Within seconds there were tears. I felt so bad but to be honest McDonald's isn't healthy.
