(Angst, basically the story of Lilly and Rachel. My minds drawing a blank guys so here ya go. There's little to no Klance in this by the way, so feel free to skip it. I have another idea for a chapter but I didn't get it till Thursday, kinda too late to write it and publish it by Saturday. Sorry!)

Rachel was shaken awake by her father. Well, it was more of a shove, considering that she was now on the cold floor of the attic. Her ears were clogged from the impacted, meaning that the harsh words coming from her father weren't heard. Her father stormed down the latter of the attic and walked off through the house.

A grown made its way up and out of Rachel's throat. Once she did a few stretches and stood up, she walked over to the other side of the room. In a pile of clothes that she made her closet she picked out her school outfit for the day. Today was a wrinkled long sleeved shirt and pants. Rachel made a mental note to herself that the laundry needed to be done when she got back home.

As quietly as she could, Rachel walked down the step of the attic, closing the stairs as soon as her feet landed on the ground. The T.V. could be heard blaring some sport channel from the front of the house, and clinking of glasses could also be heard. Rachel quietly walked through the hallway and took a right turn. The doorway opened up into a kitchen which had with it two other doors. One door way lead to the living room where her father was currently falling back asleep on the chair, and the other door lead to the basement.

Taking in a deep breath, Rachel scrambled around quietly to gather as much food as she could. After picking up the most her little arms would let her gather, she made her way to the basement door. A low moan could be heard from the living room, causing Rachel to turn around quickly in fear that she had been caught. Her father shifted a bit to get more comfortable on the chair and was sound asleep in no time. With a sigh of relief, Rachel turned back and opened the basement door.

The room was completely black with the only light being the light from the open door. While Rachel walked down the steps a figured slowly made its way into the light of the door. Rachel's sister, Lilly, sat at the bottom of the step, waiting for her sister to come to her. Rachel made it to the final step and knelt down to Lilly's level. She opened her arms to let the food fall to the floor, giving Lilly the opportunity to lung forward and hug her sister.

"Everything's OK Lilly, I'm here," Rachel reassured her little sister.

According to Rachel, Lilly was six and she herself was eight. They hadn't had a birthday for themselves in... well if Lilly was six then it was six years. Rachel could only remember her mother a little bit. She knew that Lilly had her icy blue eyes and that she had her mother's dark brown hair. Other than that, Rachel had no idea who their mother was or what their mother was like.

Rachel pulled away from her sister, "Common Lil, you need to start eating. I have to get to school so you have to be careful to hid them yourself."

The little one nodded as she reached for a banana. She snapped it in half and started to scoop the inside of the banana out and into her mouth. With a kiss on Lilly's head, Rachel quickly ran up the stairs and closed the door, leaving the little girl in darkness.

Keith woke up to the sunlight beaming down on him. The warmth felt nice on his face as he noticed that Lance wasn't in bed with him. Oh right, it's Monday, Keith groaned in his head. Realizing that his husband was already at work, Keith stood from the warm bed and walked to the bathroom.

Steaming hot water burned at his skin just the way that he liked it. He could feel his skin begin to turn red from the heat of the water and couldn't help but sigh happily. The shampoo in his hair was popping and tickling the back of his neck. This is what he's always wanted. A loving husband, a wonderful house, a good job, everything was perfect. As Keith rinsed his hair of the bubbles, he could help but think of his and Lance's future.
