(Not really Klance but angst with a happy ending. This one sucks, not gonna lie, so feel free to not read it but please read the message at the end!)

"Keith, I'd like you to meet Quid," Kolivan smiled.

"It's nice to meet you, Quid. I've heard that Squip is a very open planet," Keith shook hands with the tall male in front of him.

"Likewise. Squip is a world full of welcoming arms and diversity. If it wasn't we would be nothing more than the Galra."

His dark blue hair, his light gray skin, those bright green eyes. If Keith wasn't careful he could fall rather easily for him. But that would never happen, he loved Lance. That damn, annoying, handsome, bright eyed, perfect blue paladin. It would never happen, Lance being straight and all, but Keith could dream. Kolivan began to explain how Squip was a hidden hideout for the blade members. If anything were to go wrong, Squip had their back.

"We only ask one thing in return, though," Quid's smile was bright, melting Keith's heart, "We just want them to visit us at least once every few... what you would call months."

The team sat in the Atlas, waiting for Lance and Allura to come in and explain what the meeting was about. The door opened, they were smiling at each other. Everyone was so happy for them, Keith was to, but it still hurt.

"Allura and I... um."

"Lance and I are... ha, ha."

"We're together."

Those words, so innocent to the team but heart stopping for Keith. It wouldn't take an idiot to know that Lance really liked Allura, but Allura liking Lance? Who could've seen that coming? But now wasn't the time to wallow in Keith's self pity, Lance and Allura were together. It's a time to be happy for them, right? Right?

"Welcome back Blades! It's nice to see you again!" Quip smiled brightly and ran over to join the group of galra, "Where's Keith?"

Kolivan smirked and wrapped a brotherly arm around Quip's shoulder, "Ah, so you do like him!"

Quip's gray face burn a slight pink as he looked away, "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

Kolivan laughed, "Of course you wouldn't know! Don't worry, everyone else saw it to. The only one who doesn't know is Keith."

Quip scratched the back of his head, "So, where is he?"

"He's on a mission right now. You remember Krolia, right?"

Quip smiled. He had some fond memories of the gal. She would come over more often than once a month. They would talk trash about other Squipians or Blade members, and the chat always seemed to lead to Krolia's visit to earth. Her tales of a wonderful world filled with laughter and love. How the only man she'll ever love is waiting for her to come back home. Of course, Keith came up a lot in the conversation, so to meet the boy after this many years was weird. Krolia never mentioned that he was cute, though.

"Yes, it's hard to forget her."

"Keith's finally going to meet her!"

Keith slide down the back of his bedroom door, locking it on the way down. The day was finally done. After hours of just wanting to go into his room and be alone he finally made it. The room felt so empty now that Keith really looked at it. It was like the one back at the castle. He never filled it with anything, thinking they wouldn't be up in space that long. Yet there they were again, setting sail to destroy the galra for whatever shit they were doing this time. Would it be too much to ask if the galra could just stop for a day? Keith wasn't asking much, right? Just one day where Keith could just stay in his room, alone, and be with his thoughts.
