(Hello again! The votes are in and the poem will be about… Pidge! Yay! Thank you to all of you who put in your impute and I hope you enjoy! This one has a bit more fluff and a bit more Klance. Quick note: The poems are still the same like in the game, but they don’t have any really big meaning)

Lance’s POV

The day went by just as fast as the other day. Allura met up with me and we walked together to the club room. I could feel the poem that I wrote resting heavily in my bag. Would everyone like it? Not that I care or anything but, I still can’t help but wonder. I opened the door for Allura and she walked in. Pidge and Nyma were sitting on other sides of the room, Nyma reading ‘Portrait of Markov’ and Pidge looking for something in the closet. I looked around the room and saw that Keith wasn’t here yet.

“Hey guys? Do you know where Keith is?” I asked.

Nyma popped up from her book and Pidge came out of the closet. I held my breath as I tried not to laugh at my own joke. The girls ran over and smiled at me.

“Hey, Lance!” Pidge screamed.

“Hello,” Nyma seemed a lot more calmer.

We stayed in silence for a bit not saying anything. Maybe they didn’t hear me?

“Guys, where’s-.”

Before I could finish my sentence Keith came running in through the door.

“Sorry I’m late guys! I didn’t hear the bell ring.”

The girls rolled their eyes and Pidge replied, “Really, Keith? You expect us to believe that?”

Keith raised an eyebrow, “What?”

“We know that you were hanging out with your boyfriend!” Allura teased.

My heart couldn’t help but sink. He has a boyfriend? Of course he would have a boyfriend, what was I thinking? Keith’s got it all. The brian, the mussel, the looks, everything, who wouldn’t want to date him?

Keith’s face went red, “Allura! You know that’s not true! I don’t have time to have a boyfriend!”

My heart took flight once again. There was still a bit of hope! Only a bit, but it was there! Allura rolled her eyes and the others smiled. Wait, does this mean that Keith did have a boyfriend? God damnit!!! Just give me a straight answer. It took all my might to not laugh at yet another gay joke.

“Either way, I was actually in the study hall room practicing my piano, so I didn’t hear the bell.”

I smiled, “You play piano?”

Keith face turned a darker shade of red, “Y-Yeah.”

“Hey! Maybe you could play it for us sometime!” Pidge shouted.

All Keith could get out was stutter out excuses, the main one being that he wasn’t any good at it.

“Seriously?” I asked, “You’re Keith Kogane, you’re good at everything!”

Keith’s face flushed more and he grabbed his arm, “Well, I’ll need to practice a bit more, but sure.”

I cheered, “I’ll be looking forward to it.”

“I’ll practice really hard for you, Lance.”

It was my turn to blush a little, but I shook it off. There’s still a slight chance that he already has a boyfriend, so I shouldn’t get to attached. Besides, I didn’t even write the poem for him, so I guess I can’t really say anything. I shake off the thoughts and take in a deep breath. The club members left to do their own thing, and for a second I thought about going over a reading with Nyma again, but decided against it. I still need to get on Pidge’s good side.
