(Angst and fluff)

Keith huffed as the training continued. They've been at this for two hours; however, it's been four hours for Keith. On top of it all, his nightmares haven't been letting up. Why were they happening? Every time he's in a Galra ship with his knife. And by the way, the suits that the Galra soldiers wear are very uncomfortable.

Thinking about the nightmares gave Keith a small flashback to the night before. He was facing the team, dressed all Galra attire while the team shouted their disgust. Then everything had gone quiet, and the next moment... they were on the floor... he didn't do it, he wouldn't do it... would he?

Just as he thought that the bot that he was fighting took advantage of the moment, knocking the red paladin down and pinning him by the sword. Shiro's voice rang through the room, calling Keith out for not focusing. His head was spinning, something inside of him growing and wanting out, but he calmed down and cleared his head, kicking the bots sword away from him and sliced it through its stomach. As the bot disappeared another re-appeared.

"Let's go, guys! Fight like your life depends on it!" Shiro tried to encourage the team.

Who was he to talk, he wasn't even training! Allura and Coran were sitting down, SITTING DOWN! Keith felt the thing claw at his skull, causing a gnawing sensation to spread through his head, which therefore caused a headache. His vision blurred for a second before it refocused, everything being sharper than before. Keith couldn't help but grip his head with one hand and fight with the other. He blocked every move the bot made with such precision that it was scaring him. With one swift motion, Keith was able to push the bot back, spin around it, and slice it diagonally.

"Keith quit playing with the damn bots and kill 'em!" Shiro shouted.

"Everyone is already on their fifth one!" Allura chimed in, which didn't help what-so-ever.

Keith's teeth began to feel weird, almost like they were getting pointy. Upon appearing, the third bot wasted no time in charging, and neither did Keith. He was tired, he was done. As soon as the bot took one slash at Keith, the red paladin ducked and stabbed the bot in the chest. He wasted no time when the fourth appeared, giving it no time to appear before charging and slicing the head off.

"Keith," Shiro warned.

Keith could hear the clanging of the other's boots, the huffing, and puffing of everyone went straight to his ears. But the thing that scared him the most was that he could hear heartbeats. Maybe it was just his own, but Keith swears he could hear more than one set. The fifth phase had two bots form on either side of Keith. They both swung to hit Keith, but the boy ducked again, causing the bots to stab each other.

Another claw came after Keith's head, this time making him groan in pain. He gripped his head with both hands, letting the bayard disappear into his suit. He could hear them talk, the banter not helping his situation.

"Great, now he's on the ground. What's up with him today?" Allura sounded annoyed.

"I don't know, maybe he just wants some attention? He's great at fighting, so I don't know why he's so slow today," Shiro... why.

The clawing grew worse, tears pooled in his eyes at the pain. He could taste the blood in his mouth from his teeth poking into his tongue. His vision was beginning to come in and out of focus, sometimes sharp but otherwise his normal vision. He stood up, running out of the room to the best of his ability and running in the direction of his room.

He heard the cries of his team, some so loud that Keith thought his ears would burst, others a normal tone like they were right next to him. He finally reached his room, the door sliding behind him and locking itself like Keith programmed it to, with Pidge's help of course. He rushed into the bathroom, the door shutting behind him again as he launched himself against the sink.
