<Next Day> Kailee is over and we showed her around my house. The boys are also over playing video games. We went outside to go to mine and Ocean's spot. I open the shack we go in. It used to be my dads, but I kinda turned it into a music area.
"Your friends are weird." Kailee said laughing as we can hear them scream at each other.
"Yeah sadly we gotta live with them. Especially me one is my brother and one is my boyfriend." I said laughing a bit.
"Oh yeah that boy with brown hair and wearing the vans shirt?" Kailee asked.
"Yeah how did you tell?" I said confused.
"By the way he was looking at you when you weren't paying attention and whenever you would talk I saw him smile a bit." Kailee said smiling and I started blushing and looking down. "You know you're lucky to have a love like that at our age?"
"Yeah at first it wasn't great. It's such a weird story with them." Ocean said looking at me. "From freshman year to now I can tell she changed."
"Oh I was worse before you came to the school don't forget." I said looking over at Ocean.
"Oh really?" Kailee said sounding shocked.
"Yepp I rolled with the popular group." I said with a sigh.
"Oooh that's how I remembered you. You always hung out with Kathrine." Kailee said.
"Yeah not my proudest time. But how do you remember me? I barely remember you." I said.
"I never had any friends and I was an outsider." She said shrugging. "Nobody really knows about me."
"Well, we do now. You can hangout with us if you ever want." I suggested and gave her a smile.
"Thank you I'll like that. Actually having friends for a change." She said smiling. "Anyways I came here to hear how you guys play." Me and Ocean went into our spots basically her at the keyboard and then me behind our makeshift microphone. We played a song that I've been working on for Jonah. I looked over at Kailee who is bobbing her head and tapping her fingers. I started to smile as I kept singing. After the song she clapped her hands. "Well guys you got yourself a drummer." Both me and Ocean smiled and got really excited. We all go inside to hang out with the guys. I basically see Reed drooling over Kailee.
"Alexa kitchen!" Ocean screamed. "Now!" I looked up at her and went in there following her. "Dude, Brayden wants to come over. Is it fine?"
"Who is Brayden? Oh mystery guy?" I asked. "If so hell yeah bring him over." I gave her a wink.
"Okay I will tell him." She said and then we both went back to the front room. I went and snuggled up by Jonah. Kailee and Reed are going against each other on this game. I went on my phone and once I got a text from my mom I rolled my eyes.
"Hey so I have to go to the store. Imma make dinner tonight since my mom is gonna be gone." I said walking over to get my purse and keys. I saw no one getting up so I sighed and went off by myself.
<Jonah's POV> I would've gone with her, but I wanna talk to everyone about tomorrow. Like yeah she doesn't want to do anything, but I really wanna surprise her after she's been doing so much for all of us. And I want a perfect setting for my present to her. I got her a cute tiara promise ring. I also got this whole little speech to her and her perfectness. I wait to say something before I did I heard a knock and then Ocean walking over there. Some guy walks in and introduces himself.
"Hey guys I'm Brayden." He said walking in. I look over at Ocean with a look.
"Brayden and I are friends and I wanted to invite him over so I hope you guys don't mind." She said shyly. The way he was looking at her doesn't seem like just friends, but whatever.
"It's no problem. More the merrier, right?" I said with a smile. Everyone else nodded in agreement. "Okay guys I was thinking we have to do a party for Alex. Like, honestly I wanna do something for her."
"But, she doesn't want a party." Jack said looking over at me. "She'll never agree to one."
"That's why we surprise her." Ocean said sitting by me and Brayden sitting by her. "I think it will be an amazing idea!"
"Why would you even wanna do it? I would like to don't get me wrong, but she already planned dinner with you." Daniel said sinking in the couch more.
"Yeah but instead of dinner I can take her to our spot by the lake to all of you so we can all hangout with her. Plus I need you guys around when I give her this." I said as I pull out a tiny box with the promise ring inside. I opened it and everyone gasped. "It's a promise ring. I know how much words for her with me promising isn't easy for her to trust. So I got her something that I promise one day I'll replace." By this time everyone was smiling and some actually tearing up.(that's what it looks like)

"Okay save the rest of your speech oh my god. I can't even. Jonah I'm so happy that you're doing this. She's gonna love it and you even more." Ocean said with tears streaming down her face. I gave her a hug and then everyone, but Kailee and Brayden gave me a hug.
"I know I just met you all, but I'm happy for you guys." Kailee said smiling.
"Hey you two are gonna go to the party I'm not gonna leave you guys out." I said giving them a smile.
"Thanks man." Brayden said.
"Can I bring Carmen?" Zach said with a smile.
"Of course you can bro." I said laughing.
<30 min later> I hear the door opening so I ran and hid in the kitchen.
"Honey boo you're home!" I hear Ocean scream at her.
"Oh hello honey." Alex says laughing as she started walking in the kitchen. I jumped from the corner scaring her. She screamed and almost fell backwards but I ran up and caught her. "Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich!! Imma kill you." She screamed.
"You wouldn't dare." I said giving her a smirk. I love watching her face go from mad to all shy and blushing when I do that. "See you're blushing too much to do anything." I helped her up and winked at her.
"I knew you always do that purposely. Curse your cuteness." She said looking at me and rolling her eyes.
"Well I love seeing you mad and all but whenever I do that I get to see the cute blushy side." I said hugging her from behind.
"Oh my gosh Jonah. Go sit down." She said laughing. "I have to make dinner."
"Oh wow. I get some time with you later right?" I said with a smile. She looked up at me from the food with a smile.
"Sure fine." She said laughing and winking at me. I smiled and walked into the living room to hang out with everyone else.
