Chaptet 16 : Shattered Ice

Time flies so fast.

You can't even notice it especially when you're busy and loaded with things to do.

My days in Feuteracria turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. It's been almost two months since I entered here for the first time. With that span, I was able to adjust and get used to things I'm dealing with. I was able to control and use my elemental power better than ever. It's just so fulfilling that I'm almost living my ultimate dream.

So far, after that messy first week which put me in hell, nothing like that ever happend next, and it's a good thing. I also learned lot of things. Most of my free time, I spent it at the library. I'm trying to feed my wondering thoughts. Some were answered, but some still remain a mystery. So many school works and activities lately that I wasn't able to catch up with that wide wild west hunt. Nevertheless, my studies are my priorities. I'm doing great, I guess.

Me and my friends really became so close with each other. Except for Nicholas and Emily. I don't know what's between the two of them. But for sometimes, I caught them stealing glances with each other for a reason we don't know. We never ask also, well it's Emily we're talking to. Just expect an emotionless face as a reply.

Emily is already learning the internal water elementism just like the half of my class. She's really passionate towards her study and training. And even she never speak it loud, she's also passionate towards our friendship. No one knows in the group what she had been through, except for me. Maybe it's better to leave it that way and let her talk about it, anyway it's her thing. But through the time, I've already seen a different Emily, her gloomy self turned into a vibrant one, and she has no idea about it.

For France, she excels on her pecks. She's one of the most intelligent students here, and I can't question that. She's I'm with more often everytime I go to the library. She's also reading lot of stuff which I do not bother to know. Her mind is so interesting and amazing, so maybe she has something to deal with also, just like me.

Nicholas and Matthias, just what as expected for royalties like them, they stand out among others. Matthias is a top student of his class. And Nicholas is a top student of the whole school. Yeah, he is incredibly strong and I've seen it already. He's another level.

Everything is almost perfect on it's place until a huge news spreaded to the whole school just a week ago.

The Council of Elementa is already here.

I remember it was Monday morning when they were formally introduced to us. A group of powerful elemists led by the person with the highest position in the council, Ministro Benedicto.

Together with him are the ministrial armies under his command. Four admirals and sixteen generals. Yeah, he brought a huge number of army. And I was wondering why he badly needed to do it.

What's their purpose of coming here?

On a second thought, I just shrugged everything off because first of all, it is strictly prohibited to meddle at their business. We are clearly reminded with that by Director Valtigo.

I read the last page of the book I'm reading and closed it after. It's about the Amaseur thing Zach told me about. It's quite late to know this thing because I almost forget it.

Napataas ang kilay ko nang malaman ko kung ano ba talaga ang Amaseur na sinasabi niya.

According to the book, it's a bond. Like a soulmate but with much stronger and deeper attraction. An Amaseur is your other half. He or she is your mate, like you are both intertwined by a mysterious connection that no one can break.
