Knowing that Frank was alive may have been worse then thinking him dead. Not just because Gerard was anxious to see Frank again-but because Gerard couldn't believe neither Patrick nor Pete's words until he saw Frank for himself.

Which meant Gerard had thrown a tantrum the moment Patrick denied him visitation of his boyfriend. Gerard was more than unhappy about Patrick's words and ended up locking himself in his room; ignoring everyone who had tried to enter. Even Ray was pushed away, which was saying a lot since Ray was admittedly Gerard's favorite out of the three.

He refused to communicate with anyone if it didn't involve Frank's whereabouts. In fact, he had only poked his head out the door once and that was to hear Ray and Pete discuss Frank's condition. Gerard hid back in his room afterwards when he learned that Frank wasn't doing too well and got sick. Gerard left before he could hear what from, but he didn't necessarily care.

All he wanted was the man laying by his side and to see Frank once again so he could apologize for being such a burden. In fact, Gerard was so close to asking Pete to deliver a message but decided at the last moment not to since he knew it would be better to have their conversation face to face. Frank probably wouldn't like a letter anyways.

"Gerard." A voice said, startling Gerard enough to pull him out of his swirling thoughts. The man flinched back somewhat, muttering a curse under his breath. "C-Can you...Open the door please?" It was Andy. Gerard didn't know Andrew that well, he only knew what he had said and that was that Andy was a friend of Frank's and had been there when Frank was shot.

Gerard didn't have anything against Andy, but he didn't really like the man for the fact that he hadn't stepped in during their battle with the Black Masks.

"It's unlocked." Gerard squeaked, surprising himself and causing the man behind the door to gasp as well. Apparently he too expected Gerard to turn him away. The truth was, Gerard was lonely. He needed company and figured talking to Andy may be better than sitting alone for the rest of the day. Not, that he would admit that outloud.

Andy poked his head into the room before taking a few shy steps inside. His eyes settled on Gerard; who was currently hidden under a bundle of blankets and hiding from all the dangers in which threatened him from the outside world.

"Hey." He said. Gerard only huddled deeper in his fort. "Ray left with Pete. They're apparently going to try and figure out how to bring Frank her without being caught by the Maskies. Cool, huh?" Gerard nodded. Andy took that as his signal to enter further into the bedroom to the point where he ended up sitting at the foot of Gerard's bed.

"So, my friend Joe got separated from me. I think he's alright since he's with his girlfriend and all, but it's hard not to worry since we're best friends and he normally tells me where he's headed. I don't really have a way of finding him because I'm an outlaw. So are you and Frank, but still. It's not safe. Patrick said he'd keep an eye out and I don't really...Does Patrick seem untrustworthy to you?"

Gerard shrugged.

"I mean, he's a nice guy and all. But there's something about him-something I can't really explain but...He just seems off." "He's an illegal mask dealer." Gerard whispered. "I know that. I think most of us know that. But no. His job or whatever isn't the problem. He just seems like a guy who holds too many secrets."

Gerard shifted into a more comfortable position. "Patrick has been nice to me. He's taken care of us throughout our entire stay. He supplies us with our food and most of our money. He's helping Frank right now." Gerard said in a small voice. "There is no reason why I shouldn't trust him. Though he is offsetting at first, in no way is he someone we shouldn't trust. Besides," He added. "Anyone who wears the combination of a fedora and gas mask is good in my book. In fact, I think we're all hiding things from one another, so I don't see why he cannot have secrets of his own."
