Now Gerard hadn't meant to get stuck as he was only trying to back up to give Frank room-and he certainly hadn't meant for the vent to collapse in on itself, but now he lay on the floor or somewhere, while his entire body ached in pain.

Groaning, he reopened his eyes, listening to both Mikey and Frank shout his name frantically. He had a headache, which wasn't saying much as his arm was hurting ten times worse, but still. The yelling wasn't helping. Though it was much appreciated.

"I'm alright-gah!" He interrupted himself, a sharp pain shooting up his left hand. "Fuck!" He cursed, managing to get himself into a sitting position though his body hurt in places he was unaware of.

The room, as shocking as it was, was empty of people. In fact, it wasn't a room at all. Gerard was lucky enough to have fallen into a supply closet rather than somewhere else where he could've been spotted and killed.

"How fine. Like, lying good or actual not injured good because you made some painful sounds and I'm sure you passed out." Frank squeaked, his voice cracking in multiple places.

"I may have broken my arm." Gerard responded simply. "Oh, Gee." "Don't worry, I'm alright. I just, where's the radio...?" Although the vents were dark, the room was darker and-"Oh." Gerard said, breaking off his own train of houghts as he...As he was given light by whomever opened the door.

Meeting a Black Mask face to face wasn't what Gerard planned and bashing his skull in with his trusty crowbar wasn't part of the plan either. But Gerard reacted on instinct and instinct told him to hit the random person in the head with the crowbar. Which was what he did because, fuck. Gerard's instincts tended to command him and order him around whenever his brain quit working. Needless to say, that was a time his mind went blank and body reacted on its own.

Only, he was shocked as the man quickly dodged the blow and yanked the weapon from his hand, causing a frightened squeak to pass through his lips. "Gerard!" Frank shouted, unable to come to the man's aid as he was still trapped above.

"Shh. Shh. It's just me. Josh." Gerard still backed away, the adrenaline and fear mixing together to create a whole new feeling as his arm was numb with terrible pain. Even if the Black Mask was Josh, Gerard still had his senses dulled from his fear and pain.

"Josh? Gerard fell through the ceiling." Frank said, pointing out the obvious. "Thanks Frank. I never would've guessed that without you." Josh said, using sarcasm in front of them for the first time. His sarcastic comment settled Gerard down enough for him to gently pull his weapon away from the man and sit quietly. "What's up?" He asked innocently; as if not only a few seconds ago he had tried to kill his ally.

"Oh. That. Well, Brendon called me over to do a small job for him. I came by to check the cameras later on only to learn from Mikey that you two had come through the vents. After a while I realized that it was odd for neither of you to still be in there so I decided to go looking for you. Then I heard a crash so I assumed something was going on in here. Turns out I was right."

"This is...The most I've ever heard you talk." Gerard said with a long groan. "Thanks. Can I take a look?" Gerard held his arm out without argument. While Josh checked him over, he looked up towards Frank. "How are you doing up there-argh!" He yelled through clenched teeth. "Fuck!" "Sorry. It was just out of place. I had to fix it."

Gerard could tell, by the way Frank shuffled around, that the man was desperate to get himself out of the vent to comfort Gerard. And quite frankly, Gerard would prefer Frank to be by his side while he yelped in pain.

"It's broken." Josh said. "Obviousl-ow, ow, ow! Fuck! Don't touch it!" "I have to touch it!" Josh shot back. "Uhh." Gerard whined. Frank made a noise of complaint as well, sounding slightly paranoid as he was unable to get down to Gerard.
