Frank woke up in the comfort of Gerard's arms. He could tell, just by looking at him, that Gerard was exhausted. Even while asleep it was easy to see how tired he was from the long day yesterday. Gerard, Frank knew, was strong. He acted brave during Patrick's death but Frank was well aware that the man's death tore his boyfriend to shreds.

Though it may be hard for others, it was easy for Frank to see through his tight lipped expression and brave attitude. He saw it the moment Gerard became witness to Patrick's last breath, the fear in his eyes and the way he stared at the knife as if he were reliving something from long ago. Gerard shattered. He broke as soon as Patrick died. It was up to Frank to help build him back, at least, while trying to help Pete of course.

Frank was sure Patrick's death effected Pete more than anyone else-maybe even more than Ray. The two, Frank knew, had known Patrick for the longest and had grown closer to him than anyone else in the apartment. They must, he assumed, be taking it badly.

"Hey you two." A voice whispered, startling Gerard awake. Frank squeaked as Gerard tightened his grip on Frank and glared at whomever woke him up. "Sorry you two." Ryan apologized sincerely. "Everyone else is awake and well, we need to begin what Patrick left off. I know I haven't given enough time but...Patrick's attack is planned within a week. We don't have enough time, sweethearts."

"Gee, you're crushing me." Frank mumbled, trying his best to ignore the fact that Ryan had called them 'sweethearts.' Sure, it wasn't insulting, but he found it somewhat offending since, well, Ryan said things in a way which made it sound like he was flirting and God forbid Ryan flirted with Gerard.

"Oh, sorry sweetie." Gerard said, a jab towards Ryan. Clearly Gerard knew that Frank was somewhat upset over Ryan's constant nicknames and was trying to make a point. He loosened his grip to allow Frank to breathe better. "Thanks." He murmured.

"I'll leave you two alone for a while. I'm in the middle of making breakfast anyways. Just be in the living room within the next hour or so." Ryan said, leaving the two in their room.

"If he says anything that makes you upset just let me know." Gerard said as he kissed Frank's forehead. "I'll make sure that he knows you belong to me." "It's cute Gee, how you think I'm yours. But let's be honest. You are mine and if anyone needs protecting, it's you. Don't worry Gee. I got this."

Frank smiled at the small giggle Gerard gave him as he once again kissed the man. "Now let's go. We," Hesitating for a moment, Frank took a deep breath. "We should get this over with already."

"Are you sure? You have enough time to boil water for a bath." Gerard pointed out, causing Frank to shake his head. "Patrick's more important than bathing right now, Gee. Plus, I need to see how Pete's doing. Him and Ray were really close to Pat and they're probably..." He trailed off, letting Gerard assume his next words. "M'kay Frankie." Gerard said, tugging at Frank's shirt. "Let's...Go."

Frank could tell, that Gerard was struggling to keep his smile. Frank too, was trying his best to be okay when he truly wasn't.

They ended up in the living room where Pete sat biting his thumb nail and Ray untangling his fingers out of his afro. Joe and Andy were sitting at the table, each with a cup of coffee. Mikey was laying flat on the floor for some reason, one that Frank couldn't quite understand. Ryan seemed to be the only one moving around as he worked on making enough breakfast for all of them.

Gerard led Frank to the couch but left his boyfriend to talk to his sibling. Frank sat beside Pete awkwardly, communicating with him without words. The two sat beside eachother for a while until Pete adventually removed his thumb from his mouth and sighed. "We're fucked." "Yeah." Frank agreed. "Aren't we all."
