Now Gerard knew a lot of things. He knew things others weren't aware of and told secrets about the universe that some may not believe to be true. But even though Gerard had uncommon knowledge about the world they lived in, he most certainly did not know a single thing about controlling hundreds of people mourning the loss of their previous leader.

Not to mention that even he was struggling with emotions at the moment. Sure, he was able to calm them down earlier; but now Ray was talking about Patrick and Pete was talking about Patrick and all Gerard really wanted to do was curl up in a ball and cry.

Frank, Gerard could tell, was also struggling to stay calm and Ryan broke only seconds ago, hiding his tears behind the false assuring smile he gave them while they discussed how great of a person Patrick is-not was-and how awesome he had been towards them during their first meetings with him.

No-one, Gerard knew, had a single bad thing to say about Patrick. They all loved the man and his inability to curse and the weird sense of fashion he had-the yellow shoes he wore often and the fedora which rarely left his head were two examples.

They discussed what was to happen to his mask business and what to do about the deliveries he was supposed to make not long ago. Cancelling would be out of the question so Joe and Andy volunteered to do the job while Pete kept his head lowered and not a word left his mouth.

Gerard knew, that he was mourning in his own way. In fact, he found Frank attempting to talk to the man multiple times only to finally give up and give the man a small kiss on the forehead; which made Gerard slightly jealous but he knew Frank only meant it as a 'I'm here for you.' Kind of thing.

And although Gerard knew Frank meant no harm by the gesture, he still couldn't help his own feelings and stuck close to Frank the entire walk, making sure others were aware that Frank belonged to him. Frank though, didn't seem to notice it while Ray only gave him a questioning glance.

"So what are we going to do when we get there?" Frank asked as Gerard slung and arm over the shorter man's shoulder. "I mean, we can't just say 'Oh yeah. We're your new leaders. Obey us.'" He mocked in a terrible voice which Gerard recalled Frank using once when he was trying to imitate Gerard's. It was both adorable and humorous at once.

"Well, I don't know, hon. I was hoping you two would figure it out." Gerard sent Ryan a death glare to which the man replied with an innocent hand raise. "No offense by it, Gerard sweetie. I just thought you two would've came up with some plan."

Gerard almost pointed out that he wasn't mad by Ryan's previous statement, but by how he referred to Frank as 'Hon' and Gerard as 'Sweetie.' Which in Gerard's mind, was not okay.

"Gerard's the talker." Frank said, passing Ryan's 'Hon' without a second thought-which really made Gerard mad, by the way. "I mean, he can come up with something to say, right baby?" Ah, now there it was. So Frank really wasn't going to allow Ryan to get to him.

"I'll think of something." Gerard assured him, lifting his mask up so he could give Frank a small kiss on the forehead. Though it didn't seem to affect Ryan, it caused Ray to chuckle. "You two should just tell him kindly to stop instead of tossing your affection out like that."

"Oh." Ryan said in realization. "Oh, I am sorry. I didn't-was I offending you? I didn't-you two know I don't mean anything with those names, right? I am so sorry. I just, call everyone...Now I feel like a jackass." He mumbled.

"No, Gerard just gets jealous when others call him pet names." "Really Frankie? Because I assumed you were the jealous one. Saying you'll punch Ryan if he called me 'sweetie' one more time." Frank gave Gerard a 'look' and Gerard only responded with a smile.
