Chapter 11

Bailey's POV

This morning we had breakfast, but they barely talked, they took everything slow for me. I didn't care, I just couldn't wait for the weekend

At the end of breakfast my dad offered to drive me to school, but I told him I was fine taking the bus

I'm on the bus now and it stops at Grant's stop, I watched as everyone gets on the bus including Gabby and Grant

I watched as Grant slowly walked passed me sitting couple seats behind me, and I didn't do nothing about it

The bus finally arrived at school, I got off before Grant did, he walked passed me as we both walked inside

As we walked I kinda walked up to him, we both walked side by side without saying a word then Stella joined us

I noticed how Stella was so confused but she didn't say anything, she kept walking with us

Until she couldn't take it any longer, I guess

She take both of our arms and takes us to a none crowded hallway and pinned us to a wall

"I don't know what the fuck is going on, but you guys always talk, all the time even when I don't feel like hearing it, you still talk, so why aren't you guys talking?, it's weird" she says leaving us there

Grant and I looked at each other before Grant started to walking away from me

"Wait, Grant!" I called out

He stopped and turned around to look at me

"Stella's right, we always talk and it's weird not talking to you" I say

"You were avoiding me" he says

"No I wasn't" I say

"You looked pretty cozy with Lexi yesterday at lunch" he says

"We're partners in a art project" I said

"What about Maggie?" He Asked

"I forgive bro" I say

A small smile show on his face "but I know it was a long time ago but I don't know if I should forgive Maggie, i remember being so humiliated I don't know if I could let that go but I'm willing to try" I say

He walked over to me and gave me a hug and I hugged him back

We pull away from our hug as he pats me on the back "thanks man" he smiles

"No Problem" I say as we walked to first period

First and Second Period was back to normal, Grant ripping jokes and Me giving him the answers to everything

Then Third Period came and I walked in and noticed Lexi isn't here, at first I figured she wasn't in the room yet

Then the bell rings and she still not here, and Lexi is never late to art, and through attendance I still waited for her, she not here

Now its lunch time and I'm sitting with Stella when Grant and Maggie walks up to us

It was quiet and awkward "do you mind if we sit?" Grant asked

"No, go ahead" I said

They sat down across from Stella and I

"Hi bailey" Maggie says

"Hi Maggie" I say

Lunch was good, and Grant did what he did best, telling jokes

Now it's the end of day and I told Grant I'll meet him on the bus, I just forgot some homework in my locker

I opened my locker when a tiny piece of fell out, I picked it up and read it to see someone's phone number on it

I stuffed it in my coat pocket, I grabbed my homework and closed my locker before running to the bus before it leaves me

I got on and Maggie was sitting next to Grant, she is on the same bus as us, she just never sat by us, I sat one seat ahead of them

The whole bus ride I was third wheeling but I didn't mind if that meant Grant was happy
