Chapter 43

Bailey's POV

"Kyle!" My dad says

My dad grabbed him by his shirt picking him up on his feet, and pinned him to his Jeep

"Do you know him?" Ryleigh asked still holding her wrist

"Bailey, walk everyone back to my car" my dad says

"Dad, I'm not leaving you alone" I say

"B, your hurt just go back to the car, Now!" My dad says

I wanted to do something to help but he's right there's nothing I can do I'm hurt

Grant helped me walk to the car while Lexi helped Ryleigh

We waited in the car for my dad for a good half an hour, my dad return and we drove in silence

Once we arrived back at my house, Grant took Maggie, Stella and Lexi for me even though Lexi wanted stay

I didn't want her to get in trouble with her moms since they didn't have any knowledge of her being here

When we first walked in the door, mom and Kendyll rushed towards us and was in  quick relief when they saw Ryleigh was okay

But my mom when into a panic attack when she noticed the blood on my face and the blood on my dad's knuckles

My dad took my mom in the kitchen to calm her down, while Kendyll cleaned the blood off my face, I looked in the mirror noticing the red mark on my eye meaning a black eye

Once my dad calmed my mom, we all was called down for a family meeting

My mom and dad saw on the love seat while Kendyll, Ryleigh and I sat on the longer couch

Mom's face is red while dad's knuckles cleaned up which only left bruises the blood wasn't his

"With the events that's happened tonight, there's something your mom and I want to tell you especially Ryleigh" my dad says

"Mom and I met Kyle in high school, he had um a crush on your mother" my dad spoke carefully as my mom squirm in her seat

"we have a restraining order against him, he has to stay 20 feet away from your mom" my dad says

"the day that bailey was born was originally suppose to be the baby shower, I had asked Kyle to drive me there and he got really angry and he started speeding and he hit a tree" my mom started crying as she was reliving that moment

"Wait?, he almost killed you?" Ryleigh asked tears going down her face as my dad comforted my mom

"This can't be happening" Ryleigh says as she starts to freak out

"Ryleigh?" My dad says

"What did I do!?" She says

"I'm always the one to fuck up everything!" She cried as she runs upstairs

"Ryleigh!" My dad says

"I got her" I say following her upstairs to her room

I can hear her sobbing, I knocked on her door "go away!" She cries out

I don't listen to her, I walked in and closed the door behind me she sat up on her bed holding a pillow

I stood quietly in front of her, her face was red and wet from her tears
