Chapter 23

Bailey's POV

It's lunch now and it's Grant, Maggie, Stella, Lexi and I. Usually Grant will be telling us a crazy story but today he's quiet it's probably cause he's tired or something

While Lexi and was talking she excused herself to the bathroom, I started eating my fruit cup

"bailey" grant called me

"Yeah?" I look at him

"You dating her?" He asked

"No" I say truthfully

He nodded before going back to his food

It's now the end of the day and I'm about to go home I asked Grant if he wanted a ride home but he declined he said he rather take the bus

I didn't argue with him, Lexi and I waited til the parking lot as half empty before we shared another kissed, I gave her another kiss before getting in my car and driving home

After I got home I was in good So I decided I would help my sisters with their homework, but Kendyll didn't need help so I helped Ryleigh but she kept nagging at me so I gave up

For dinner we was gonna get Chinese food since it is Kendyll and I's favorite food but Ryleigh insisted on cooking dinner so Uncle Jack and Kendyll is making sure she doesn't burn nothing

I'm in my room I already finished my homework and now I'm face timing Lexi, we just finish laughing at something funny

"Hey you finished with that portrait?" I asked

"Maybe" she smiled

"Good that means I can start mine" I smile

"Do you want me to wear a specific outfit?" She asked "for my portrait" she added

I knew what she doing but I responded with what I truly felt "wear whatever is comfortable with I only need your pretty face" I say causing her to blush

"Hey can I ask you a question, it's kinda personal" I say

"Sure" She says

"Um how's Sawyer?" I asked

"Sawyer?" She says confused. " oh you mean Jesse?, he's good I mean he's fine" she nodded

Jesse is what they must of named him

"That's good" I smiled

"Now can I ask you a question?" She asked

" go ahead" I said

"Do you like...like me?" She asked

"yeah" I say without giving it a second thought

"do you ever think about being with me? like in a real relationship?" she asked

I thought about that question and honestly I never thought about it, of course I like her and she can make my day from bad to amazing in a heartbeat

"I haven't really thought about it" I say honestly

"Oh" she says looking down

"But Lexi you-" I start to say but was interrupted when Ryleigh opened my door

"Dinners ready" She says

"Okay one second" I say

"Either you eat when it's hot or cold not my problem" Ryleigh says

"Ry, can wait for one minute?" I asked

"Actually my mom's are calling me, I'll talk to you later Bailey" Lexi says

"No Wait!" I say but it was too late she already hung up the phone

I sighed before looking at Ryleigh

"What?" She said

"You couldn't wait?" I asked standing up off my bed

"Don't give me attitude!, I'm making sure you get fed" she rolled her eyes

"Your really annoying Ryleigh" I say walking in front of her

"I am not, Mama says I'm just so outgoing everybody else just can't keep up" she says flipping her hair before walking away

I rolled my eyes before following her downstairs
