Chapter 18

Bailey's POV

First and second period was good and so was third right I'm at lunch with Grant, Maggie and Stella

We're listening to Grant telling us this crazy story about a dream he had once

I look up to see Lexi walking to her usual lunch table, she sits with the hipster kids, she would never admit this but she tries to fit in with them showing them her art but they never pay attention to her

Honestly they don't even deserve the approval to look at Lexi's amazing beautiful art

As Lexi was about to walk pass me, I stopped her "hey you wanna eat with us?" I asked

She looked at everyone else for approval "yeah it's alright" grant says

"Sure" She says sitting across from me, Grant continues his story while Lexi and I had our own conversation

It's now the end of the day and I'm walking towards my truck to see Lexi sitting on the truck of her car

I put my backpack inside my truck before turning around to see Grant and Maggie standing behind me

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Are you really gonna make us take the bus?" He asked

I sighed rolling my eyes "just get inside" I open the door for them

I walk around to the other side to talk to Lexi "Hey" I say

"Hi" she smiled

"Wanna hangout?" I asked

"With then too?" She asked pointing to Grant and Maggie

"No, I'm dropping them off at home but I can meet you somewhere else" I say

She gets off her car and place her jacket and backpack in her backseat

"Sure, where you wanna meet?" She asked standing in front of me which was pretty close

"How about The Milkshake Shop?" I asked leaning into my truck

"Sounds good, see you there" she says patting my chest before getting in her

I watch as she gets in her car and drives out the parking lot. I got in my car and started it

"Dude were you flirting with Lexi?" Grant asked

"No" I say driving out the parking lot and towards Grant's house since him and Maggie already plan to hangout after school
