Chapter 47

Bailey's POV

Lexi and I watched two movies but then it started getting dark and I needed to get her home before her moms will start to worry

I just got back home from dropping Lexi home and I was about to head upstairs when

"Hey B!" My dad says

"Yeah?" I say

"I gotta talk to you, come into the kitchen"  he says

I walked into the kitchen where my dad was "take a seat" he says

I sat down on the stool by the kitchen island "what's up dad?" I say

"Um why would you invite that girl over, and you know how your mother feels about that family?" He asked

"Dad, what?, I'm confused" I say

"You know how your mother feels, you've seen the meltdowns and the panic attack she been having, What in the goddamn world made you think it was okay to bring that girl here!" He raised his voice

"Um" I scratched the back of my head

"Grayson!" A voice said behind me

I turned around and it was my mom, she had her arms crossed and her eyebrows were furrowed towards my dad

"Can I talk to you in the study?" She asked

My dad nodded before leaving the kitchen, my mom walked up to me

"Bailey go wash up, dinner will be ready in a couple minutes" she says

"Okay" I nodded giving my mom hug before going upstairs

Lilly's POV

I watched Bailey go upstairs and I walked into the study where Grayson already was

I closed the door behind me before facing him

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked

"Don't act like that Lilly, you know how much stress that family has put you through and Bailey might not know that whole story but he should know better then bringing that girl here!" Grayson says

"That Family?, Jessica And Alex?, the same people who took us in, when my dad kicked us out because I was pregnant?" I asked

Grayson looked down at hands avoiding my question

"How can you defend them?, they're trying to take our baby away from us?" He asked

"Have you ever thought they feel exactly how I feel?, they might not be having panic attack like me but, I'm not mad at them true they probably hate me and don't want anything with me" I say

"And Lexi is her name, keep her and bailey out of this. They probably just miss each other after all of this bullshit is happening" I say

I turn around to walk away when

"Lilly" Grayson says

"No Gray, Dinner will be ready in a few minutes and your sleeping on the couch" I say before walking back into the kitchen
