Bailey's POV

It broke me the entire day when I saw Lexi with Bruce, she sat with him at lunch and it made my blood boil when I heard the cheerleaders talked shit about her

So when it was the end of the day I couldn't wait to go home when I talked I saw Kendyll eating cereal while Ryleigh and my parents had a heated discussion

I closed the front door and stood next to Kendyll watching Ryleigh and my parents

"This is so unfair!" Ryleigh says

"Well life's unfair sweetheart" my mom says

"Give me a reason why I can't go?" She asked

"First none of these kids go to your school that's going to be attending this party" my dad says

"Therefore we don't them or their parents" my mom says

" Second There's probably drugs and alcohol there" my dad says

"And we know you are responsible enough to not to do drugs or drink alcohol, but someone at that party isn't responsible as you and will try and pressure you" my mom says

"And third it's a school night" my dad says

"Therefore you cannot go" my mom says

Ryleigh groans

"This is discrimination, this is sexist and totally unfair!" Ryleigh says

"How?" My mom asked

"Bailey!, he gets a car, he gets to go out after school and he gets to go to parties and sometimes he comes back late and all you guys say is don't do it again" she protest

"First Bailey is 18, he's young adult, and he doesn't really go out" she says

"and I know it seems very unfair but it's very different when boy goes out at midnight and when a girl goes out at midnight" my mom explain

"But I know how to protect myself, mom you taught me how" she says

"Ryleigh, the answer is still no" my mom says

"I HATE MY LIFE!" Ryleigh screamed before running upstairs to her and slamming her bedroom door

"Hey Ryleigh!" Grayson says

"Gray, let her go" my mom says to my dad

My mom looked over at Kendyll and I and sighed "dinner will be a little late" my mom said

Kendyll nod before giving her a hug and going into the kitchen with her bowl

I was about to walk away when my mom called my name

"Bailey, are you okay?" She asked with concern

"Yeah, just tired" I say before going upstairs to my room, closing the door behind me and laying down on my bed
