Chrim's PoV
"We'll accept an explanation, Kuya Louie. Just... please explain your side." I said. We're here at the admins office. Me, Kuya Melrein and Kuya Louie. Wala pa akong balak na sabihin ito kay Kuya Christian.
"I told you. I'm not explaining everything." Ang paulit ulit nitong sinasabi.
"Fine but please answer my question. Are you... are you 'the eye' he's been talking about?" Nanatili itong nakatingin sa akin. I have a hint on what he's about to say but I'm hoping it's not that.
"Yes." Diretsong sabi niya na nakapagpapikit sa akin. I can't believe this. One of my trusted admins--Head admins is his ally?
"I guess you won't answer the question why..." Sabi naman ni Kuya Melrein. Nanatili pa rin itong kalmado sa kinauupuan niya pero diretsong nakatingin kay kuya Louie.
"Louie..." They both looked at me. It's the first time I called him without "Kuya".
"You are no longer a head admin. This academy don't need a Head Admin who puts their lives in danger." Sabi ko at nanatiling nakapikit. I can't see him.
"Pero... hindi mo naman ako paaalisin sa academy, hindi ba?" No. I can't do that. Hindi siya pwedeng lumabas ng Academy. Maraming magtatanong.
"No. You may go." Sabi ko.
"What? Chrim, he might--," I cut him off at tiningnan si Kuya Louie.
"I trust him. I know he might but I trust him. I trust him enough to let him stay with freedom inside MY Academy. I know he won't do it again. I've seen the proof." Sabi ko at naupo na din sa upuang kaharap ni Kuya Melrein.
"But I have to warn you.. Mag-iingat ka, Mel." Sabi nito at bumaling kay Kuya Melrein bago lumabas ng pinto na siyang ikinatakot ko. Ano'ng ibig niyang sabihin doon?
"Chrimmy.."
"Hhmm?" I asked without looking at him.
"Yung kanina--," I cut him off.
"By the way huwag mong babanggitin ito kay Kuya Christian." Sabi ko na lang.
"Chrimmy.."
"Siguro nagtataka ka kung bakit ang lakas ng loob kong umamin sa'yo no? Actually no. I think kinailangan ko pang uminom ng isang galong confidence noong sabihin ko sayo 'yon. Muntik nang lumabas ang puso ko sa kaba noong gabing iyon. Kuya, is it really not possible?" I asked him directly. I can't lie to myself. I am hoping.
"I.. want to take it slow, Chrimmy." Gulat akong napatingin sa kanya.
"A-ano'ng.. do you.. like me too?" I asked without hesitation. Napaiwas siya ng tingin.
"I don't know. You made me damn crazy." Sabi nito.
"Kuya.."
"I said I won't love you again but.. Ewan ko.. I don't know.."
"You're... stopping yourself?" I asked shocked.
"Chrimmy.. I don't know how to love. I don't know that feeling. Kaya sabi ko, I won't love you again the day na hindi na kita nakakausap. Hindi ko kasi maintindihan. I'm afraid." Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. Again? Pero hindi siya marunong magmahal? Ano daw? Mukhang pati siya ay naguguluhan sa sarili niya. Afraid? Siya, natatakot... magmahal?
"Afraid of what?"
"Of being left." Doon gumuho ang mundo ko.
"You think I'll leave you? Have you been left before?" I asked.
Unti-unti itong tumango.
"I was addicted to wattpad that time. Nawalan daw ako ng oras sa kanya." I can't believe someone like him was left behind.
"So you really think I'll leave you? You think I can?" Medyo naiiritang tanong ko.
"I don't know." Sabi nito at napasandal sa swivel chair niya.
"Words are too deceiving. I'm too scared to believe what you're saying." So wala siyang tiwala.
"You can judge anything about me but not my feelings. They are pure, true and they have nothing to be doubted" I said sincerely.
"I'm not doubting. I'm making sure." Hindi ko alam kung anong isasagot. Ano namang pinagkaiba noon? I don't get it. Gusto niyang makasigurado dahil may pagdududa, hindi ba?
"I'm making sure I will not doubt in the near future. I'm preventing, preventing is better than cure, right?" Naguguluhan lang ako sa mga sinasabi niya. Napakalalim at hindi ko lubos maintindihan.
"That's why I want to take it slow. There will be no us yet... pero may strings, may feelings. Wala munang label. Iyon ang gusto ko." Ang sinabi niyang iyon ay nakapagpatalon sa puso ko. Napakagentleman pakinggan.
"Kuya, aren't you afraid of the rule?" I asked.
"Para saan pa ang salitang 'secret' kung hindi mo gagamitin?" He said and smirked.
"Pero kuya.. natatakot ako para sa'yo." I sincerely said. Natatakot ako sa maaaring gawin niya sa kanya.
"You don't have to be afraid... of what you are, there's an answer if you reach into your soul and the sorrow that you know will melt away." Sabi nito at tumawa ng mahina. Napaisip ako kung bakit siya tumawa.

"Damn! Those are lyrics of a song!" Sabi ko nang marealize na lyrics iyon ng kanta.
