Chrim's PoV
"Are you guys ready?" I asked as I look at them.
"Yeah." Tanging si Kuya Melrein lang ang sumagot.
"I see, you're ready." Natatawang sabi ko.
"I think ready na din ako." Sabi ni Jack, oo kasali siya. Nakakagulat mang isipin pero oo marunong at alam kong may future yan sa pagsusulat kahit medyo gago yan. Hahaha
"Ok then. I need to leave. Bye!" I said as I waved my hand and went out of the club room.
I was about to grab the handle ng maliit kong cute na purple na maleta nang may kung sinong humablot nito.
"Lemme walk you towards the gate." He said and I nodded. Lihim akong napangiti dahil doon.
"Chrimmy." I look at him without stopping from walking.
"W-what's your fb acc?" He asked.
"Chrim Wp," napakunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko.
"Na hack kasi yung real acc ko, so I started using that particular acc since then." Sabi ko at tumango siya.
"Don't let us lose communication, please." He said. I want to laugh, he looks like a child pleading for a candy and that makes him so damn cute.
"May text naman." I said.
"Hindi na ako nagtetext." He said.
"I love texting." Sabi ko naman. I love texting more than chat. Sa text kasi, hindi ko alam kung naseen na ba niya so all I need to do is wait for his reply. At least hindi ko alam kung inignore niya ang message ko or hindi niya lang talaga nabasa. Ang sakit kasing makita na naseen lang yung chat mo.
"Whatever. Chat na lang." He said and we reached the gate. I stopped and turned my whole body to face him.
"Dalawang araw lang ako mawawala. Hindi dalawang taon, wag kang OA. Don't lose communication ka pang nalalaman dyan." Natatawang sabi ko as I was about to grab the handle nang iiwas nya ito at siya na mismo ang nagsakay nito sa kotse.
"See you when I see you." I said and waved my hand. I smiled when I saw him waved his hand as his lips curved a little.
Sumakay na ako sa kotse. Lagpas isang oras pa lang ang byahe ay nagpop up na ang isang friend request sa facebook.

Automatic na napangiti ako at walang pagdadalawang isip na pinindot ang "Confirm" button. I clicked the waved button and he waved back.
Chrim: No classes?
Melrein: Vacant. Where are you now?
Chrim: I don't know. Haha, I'm not familiar with the place.
Melrein: -__-
Chrim: ^_^
Melrein: Eyes on the road.
Chrim: I'm not driving.
Melrein: Kahit na.
Chrim: Hayst. Kinakabahan ako.
Melrein: Why?
Chrim: What if I failed? Failed the whole Region IV-A.
Melrein: Don't think like that. I know you can do it.
Chrim: Ikaw? Asan ka ngayon?
Melrein is typing...
Melrein: Gotta go. May class na.
Chrim: Ok, bye.
Akala ko vacant? Ang bilis naman yata.

Melrein's PoV
I turned off my phone and looked at the nurse.
"I'm ok, I can even run a thousand miles right now." I said.
"Baka po kasi magdugo ulit." She said.
"He said he's fine. Leave us alone." Maawtoridad na sabi ni Christian. Napatungo naman ang nurse at lumabas muna ng clinic.
"Why did you do that?" He asked.
"I felt like it's one of my responsibilities. I'm the head admin after all." I answered as I sit down. I've been lying here for an hour already. Damn it!
"What a nice head admin you are. Ready to risk his life--," I cut him off.
"Leadership is not just about giving commands. It's also thinking about your people. Be it safety or needs." I said and look straight into his eyes, trying to give him the meaning I want him to get.
"Don't do that again. Baka ako ang mapatay ng kapatid ko." Sabi nito na ikinakunot ng noo ko.
"What?"
"Wala. Pagaling ka." Sabi nito at lumabas na.
Ano nga bang pumasok sa isip ko at ginawa ko yon?
Flashback~
I went inside and unfortunately, I saw someone on black outfit with a gun, aiming a girl's head not so far from me. I didn't think twice and covered the girl with my body. I was shot on the arm dahil mas maliit sa akin ang babae at itinagilid ko siya.
Dinig na dinig ang bulungan at hiyawan sa paligid. I saw Louie and Kringy running towards me. Nanghihina ako but I managed to stood up straight. Louie then grabbed my right arm and put it in his nape. Inakay nila ako papunta sa clinic ng Academy.
"Bakit mo ba ginawa 'yon?" Galit na galit na tanong ni Louie pero hindi ko siya sinagot.
"Look, I know you know something but that doesn't mean you have to risk your life to save everyone dude!" Sabi pa nito pero nanatili akong tahimik habang ginagamot ng doctor. There are lots of doctors here in the academy. Nagtaka pa nga ako kung bakit inilabas pa nila ng academy si Elle. Maybe hindi na kinaya ng doctors or ng facilities dito.
"Damn. Sinabi ko na na mag-ingat ka pero ikaw mismo naglagay ng buhay mo sa panganib!" Dagdag pa niya.
"Stop nagging. You're not my father." Sabi ko.
"I'm your friend!" Sabi niya. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. Dapat ko pa bang pagkatiwalaan ang isang ito?
End of flashback~
