He was sad.
Most of the time he'll just glance through the window, glancing down at all the things he missed during his childhood.
He was lonely.
Not a single visitor, not a single person coming to visit him and ask if he was okay.
But that was norm...

I watch as Roder was taken away by the police.
He didn't say anything, he was silent the entire time.
He just watch me.
"Roder, I'm sorry." I said but he didn't reply.
The police helped him into the car and they nod at my mother before leaving.
"Cmon Alazne, let's go home." I fight out grip, "I'm not going home with you." I respond, her eyes widening as she hear my words.
"Are you going to run after him then?" She ask, her voice high as she yell.
She scoff, "He's dangerous! I told you so!" She continue on, "I could've never even allow him into my house. He's a bad influence."
"How's is he a bad influence?"
"He killed someone!" She laugh again, "That wasn't even the first time he did! Why did you think his mother left him?! Why did you think everyone did?!"
"Why did you think he was put in the hospital?" She whisper into my ears as she smile at me before backing away.
"The hospital was the only place and option for him to go." She shrug, "He couldn't go to prison, and his mother did want him in juvenile."
"You said earlier, that this wasn't his first time killing someone, what do you mean by that?"
"Let him tell you."

I was put behind bars, locked up for the murder I have just caused.
I glance around the rusty room, not much seen furniture in it except for two old uncomfortable looking bunk beds, a dirty sink, and a dirty toilet without a single roll of toilet paper.
I sigh as I sit there on the floor glancing up at the ceiling knowing any moment now my mother was going to bail me out and give me a long lecture.
Yet, I felt guilty.
He could've apologize to Alazne and never did it again if I just warned him, but instead, letting him get close to Alazne sent a burning feeling through my chest and I didn't want that to happen.
I didn't want him get close to her, neither anyone else because I'll be ending up behind bars everyday.
I trace my hand on the dusty floor.
It's not like she cares about me or if I can see her again.
Her mother probably terrify of me going near her daughter and I think she's right.
I blow the dust off my hands and watch as it fly around in the room.
I wouldn't want myself around me, either.
