"Roder, I'm speaking to you." My mother said as she lean again the black and white marble counter.
I lift up my gaze towards her, raising an eyebrow, "You now want to speak to me? After abandoning me in a hospital for years?"
"Roder! I'm your mother!" She yell as she approach me waving around her fingers.
"Do not talk to me that way!"
My eyes flicker back to her, "Mother is a title, being one is a responsibility,"
"One that you've ditched a long time ago." I respond, getting off of the wall I was leaning on and left the building.
She just stood there, not uttering a single word as I left the house, slamming the door behind me.
The cold atmosphere hitting me quickly.
I shiver, quickly turning my gaze to the door that just opened.
My mother came into view, she was frustration and stress as her perfectly manicured hands connect with my face and a loud, clapping sound was heard.
"Respect me." She stated.
"Respect me also, it can't go one way." I reply, turning around and leaving her in the cold as I tuck my hands in my pocket.
"Roder!" She call after me as she slam her heels into the floor angrily and yell from the top of her lungs.
I shrug as I kept walking, a buzzing sensation from my pocket stopping me instantly.
I take my phone from my pocket, turning it on and glancing at Alazne's messages.
Smiley Weirdly: Your mom's really... something.
I agreed, Me: Yeah, something.
Smiley Weirdly: Wait, how are you able to talk to me? Didn't she destroy your phone?
Me: And fixed it back.
Smiley Weirdly: Anyways, remember that dare we made in the hospital a long time ago with you and me walking around outside together?
I nod, remembering the time she enter my room and wrap her pinky around mine, promising me to let me see the outside world.
I glance around the area before glancing back at the bright, blinding screen.
Me: But I already experience the outside world.
Smiley Weirdly: So? Did we experience it together?
I didn't reply back, watching as she begin typing again.
Smiley Weirdly: The answer is no and I'd be waiting outside for you :p see you soon!

"I was waiting for you so long... Where were you?" Alazne ask as she approach me.
"I got lost." I send my hand through my hair as she chuckle at me.
She smile as we begin walking the lonely streets.
"Roder — I'm sorry for getting you lock up." Her gaze flicker to me from the snowed sidewalk.
"My mother overheard our conversation and called the police." She continue on, a guilty expression plastered on her face as she play with her fingers.
"Later on, I was begin question about where you
were and —""Can we talk about something else?"
She raise an eyebrow at me, "Like what?" She ask and I shrug, "I don't know, ask any questions."
She tap her chin with her fingers as she thought, her eyes scanning everywhere and everything before she glance back at me and her eyes twinkle brightly under the street light.
Her smile slowly dropping, "Hey, Roder?" She ask in her tracks.
Her soft hands reach up my cheek and I moved my face quickly.
"Roder, keep still!" She said as she walk closer towards me.
She touch my left cheek — the same one my mother slap me on earlier.
"Why is your cheek red?"
