I'm sorry, I'm really a mess right now...

Kenny stared at the portrait of him and Toni on their wedding day that was plastered on their cream white wall as he heard the echo of the door being shut. The heels that clicked onto their white tiles could be heard along with a few bags being placed down on the kitchen counter. He took another sip from his shot he had poured licking the remains off his lips.

Toni placed her phone down on the kitchen counter before she walked out and down the hall.

"What was that?" Kenny's voice startled her.

Her eyes widened as she turned and faced him. He sat on the sofa, he steered his eyes from the portrait over to her raising his eyebrows in confusion and question.

"What are you talking about?" Toni asked folding her arms over her chest.

"Why would you speak to the press about us?" Kenny asked in a calm tone.

"Because it was the right thing to do sin-"

"Right thing to do? So announcing to the press that we're getting a divorce was the right thing to do?" Kenny yelled, "telling them something I didn't even know about?" He asked in a much calmer tone.

"I didn't know we were getting a divorce..." He trailed off taking a sip from his tequila again nodding his head in the process.

"I don't know why you're angry. Everything I'm doing and going through is your fault." She began, "I am like this... because of you!" She yelled.

"How is any of this my fault? I've been trying-"

"How Kenneth? How have you been trying?" She asked with her voice cracking.

Kenny sat up moving forward looking at her as he realised the pain that she was still going through. It was hard for him too.

"You're so calm about everything. Like you didn't just kill our son, like you didn't do anything-"

"I saved your life-"

"You saved the wrong person! You're an asshole!" She screamed throwing her hands up. "You didn't care about the decision you made-"

"I did! It was a hard decision-"

"Not hard enough huh!"

"I'm gonna say this again, at that moment, it seemed like the right choice." Kenny calmly said as he stood up.

Toni shook her head as tears began to run down her face.

"I- I don't wanna be in this marriage. Just let me go, please... I beg you." Toni softly said taking deep breathes in the process.

"I can't stand the sight of you, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't hate you. Because I really do. I can't do us. I don't want to be in this house!" She screamed looking around her. "I hate everything, I hate this house, I hate my life, I hate myself, I hate you and I hate us!" She yelled.

Kenny remained silent, speechless as he just stared at her in disbelief before he slowly nodded his head. He swallowed his saliva setting his glass down on the table.

"Alright than... I'll give you what you want." He mumbled holding in the pain he felt.

Toni chewed down on her bottom lip looking at the white tiles as she fiddled with her fingers. She felt his presence come closer, he stopped in his tracks next to her.

"I was expecting this but just so we're clear, if I had to choose all over... I'd choose your life again. And again. And again." He said before he walked out.

She shut her eyes as tears ran down her face again. She let out a frustrated breathe before turning around watching him walk up the stairs.
