Wrong Injection

CHAPTER 24

I woke up shielding my eyes from the morning sun that shined through my window. I stretched and the soreness between my thighs reminded me of last night, I couldn't believe I had sex with Sultan. I smiled and bit my bottom lip before rolling over to look at him only to find out that he was not in bed with me, again. I literally froze as my lips parted out of shock, I couldn't believe it.

I knew he does it to every woman, but he told me I'm different last night. So why did he leave again without informing me? I asked myself with tears in my eyes.

"Pass me the popcorn." Bella said and I passed a bowl of popcorn to her, as we watched movie.

"Bella." I called.

"Yes mama." She responded.

"I had sex with Sultan last night." I said her and her eyes almost fell off.

"For real?"

"Yeah, I'm not a virgin anymore." I shrugged and she smiled.

"Wow! just wow!" She was dying with joy.

"Stop.." I said shyly.

"With the good news you just gave me, I'm sleeping over tonight!" She said and my face lights up. I was glad she would be spending her first night with me in my new home.

"For real?!"

"Yes."

"Yay!" I said happily. "Now lets go cook something I'm hungry." I said to her.

"Okay."

After we were done cooking and eating, we came back to the living room and continued with the movie.

"You are lost Lani, are you okay?" Bella asked after a while, she noticed I was not really paying attention to the movie. And honestly I wasn't.

"Yeah." I lied.

"Lair, is it Sultan?" I shook my head. "Hey tell me, if he is the reason I will ask him to come right away. I was the one who gave your address to him, sorry." She apologized and I gave her a small smile, I already knew she was the one..

"No it's not him."

"Then what is wrong? You are getting me worried."

"Max." I said.

"What about max?" She asked. Max called earlier and informed that he would be leaving for Germany today. I was going to miss my bestie a lot. He was going to stay in Germany for months and I would really miss him a lot.

"He is going to Germany Bella, still chasing his dream as a lawyer. But look at me.. I can't chase mine because of my baby. I'm always indoors, doing nothing. All I do is sleep and eat, and take a stroll.. I'm tired Bella, so fucking tired." I said every word crying.

"Lani honey, Listen to me. I'm not just a friend but a sister as well. Don't let things eat you up before telling me, it's not good for you, neither for the baby. Don't hesitate to ask me anything once you know I could help." She exhaled. "Tell me, what do you want to do before our precious little baby comes?"

"I'm okay with anything Bel, I just want to keep myself busy that's all." I said.

"You don't have to stress yourself in your condition. What if I open a restaurant for you?" She said and my eyes went wide.

"What? Bella this is too much, no no I can't take this offer no, maybe I should just help mom at her shop." Opening a restaurant for me was too much even though she had the money to established one, the offer was huge.

"And I don't want that for you, I will do anything and everything just to make you happy, you will literally break my heart if you refuse this." Her eyes pleaded and smiled, happy how lucky and blessed I was to have Bella in my life.

"Thank you Bella."
