I've been out of touch with Bella for a while now, and to be honest, I'm getting really worried about her. Despite what she did, which hurt me deeply, I'm not ready to write off our relationship just yet. Bella's actions, though painful, also brought significant changes into my life. She made me a mother at a young age and connected me with Sultan, a wealthy and caring father to our daughter.
Moreover, she protected Sultan from Veronica's manipulative plans, which deserves acknowledgment. Speaking of Sultan, he's been actively involved in Dream's life, often picking her up to spend quality time with Sarah and her brother Liam at the penthouse. It's heartwarming to see Dream and Liam bond so quickly. I'm grateful that Dream has both parents' love and support, and it was amazing to see them thrive together.
"Mu-mmy!" Dream squealed, racing towards me as I stuffed her things into her backpack. Sultan would be here any minute to take her to daycare.
"Yes baby?" I replied, scooping her up for a quick cuddle.
"Food," she demanded, her little face scrunched up in a frown. I chuckled and shook my head; she always made the cutest faces when she was hungry or upset.
"But you just ate ten minutes ago, sweetie," I said, making a sad face for comedic effect. She giggled at my silliness, and I took the opportunity to tickle her belly gently.
"Mu-mmy, stop!" she squealed, laughing uncontrollably.
"We should hit the gym soon and burn off these extra fats," I teased her, still tickling her belly. But our playtime was interrupted by the doorbell. I stopped tickling her, and we both gazed at the front door.
"Daddy!" Dream exclaimed, recognizing the sound. "Mu-mmy, down, down!" she pleaded, eager to get down and rush to the door. I obliged, and she sprinted towards the entrance. Sultan carefully opened the door, knowing Dream was waiting eagerly on the other side. "Daddy, Daddy!" she squealed, bouncing up and down excitedly. As soon as Sultan picked her up, she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. I watched the reunion with a warm smile, marveling at how much of a daddy's girl Dream was.
"How's my princess doing?" Sultan asked, and Dream beamed with a happy smile.
"Fine Daddy," she replied, her voice filled with joy. Sultan showered her with affection, planting a gentle kiss on her cheek.
"I love you," he whispered, and Dream's face lit up.
"Love Daddy," she responded, her tiny voice full of adoration.
The bond between them was unmistakable, a connection that seemed unbreakable. As Sultan walked towards me, he asked, "How are you doing?" Before I could respond, he leaned in and pecked my lips softly.
"I'm good," I said, smiling.
"Where's Liam? Why didn't he come with you today?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.
"Liam's at home," Sultan replied, and it was clear he wasn't heading to work today, given the casual attire and early visit.
"So, you'll drop Dream off at the penthouse before taking her to school?" I asked, continuing to pack her bag.
"Yeah, and Mom mentioned she told you not to make sandwiches for them today. What's in their snack bags instead?"
"Fruit salad, milk, and cookies," I replied, opening the bags for him to inspect. He nodded, seemingly satisfied.
"Alright cool," he said, and I couldn't help but think he's the best dad I know.
"Oh, Dream hasn't had her bath yet, so you'll have to wait a bit longer," I informed him and nodded understandingly.
"Sure, we'll head upstairs then," he said, carrying Dream in his arms as he walked towards the stairs.
"Alright, I'll join you both soon," I replied.
"Alright," his voice carrying a hint of anticipation as he disappeared upstairs with Dream.
