My eyes slowly fluttered open, and I found myself gazing at Milani's serene face as she slept peacefully beside me. I gently stroked her cheek, pondering the inexplicable hold she had on my thoughts and emotions. Just as I was lost in contemplation, she stirred slightly, her mesmerizing brown eyes slowly opening. "Good morning," I whispered, tenderly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. And a soft smile spread across her face as she replied, "Good morning."

"How was your night?" I asked and she snuggled closer to me, her proximity sending a warmth through my chest.

"You made it great," she whispered, and I pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead before she slipped out of bed. "Where's the washroom?" she asked, and I directed her with a lazy gesture.

"Take your right, you'll find it down the hall."

She raised an eyebrow, teasingly incredulous. "You mean I have to take a long hike before getting to the bathroom?" I chuckled at her sass.

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"Incredible," she said, shaking her head in mock exasperation.

"I can walk you there if you want," I offered, and her face lit up.

"Sure, I'd love that." I got out of bed and escorted her to the bathroom. As she stepped inside, her eyes widened in awe at the spaciousness of the room.

"This is freaking cool... for a sec, I thought I was in a second master bedroom," she said, her eyes scanning the bathroom in awe. "This is so damn nice. How could a bathroom be fancier than the house I live in?" She joked, and I chuckled.

"You're so silly Milani," I said, shaking my head in amusement.

"I bet I'm gonna take a long shower," she said, and I shrugged, smiling.

"Take all the time you need," I replied, enjoying her infectious energy as she continued to explore the bathroom with wonder.
