"Can you get me more juice?" Veronica asked, snapping me out of my reverie. If looks could kill, she'd have been six feet under.

Catching the intensity of my gaze, she smiled sweetly and said, "Uh, it's fine," before walking away to fetch the juice herself.

"Hey, Lani's here," Gabby said, nudging me, and I nodded, my eyes fixed on Milani.

"Why don't you go say hi?" Bella suggested, her voice laced with amusement. I raised an eyebrow, skeptical.

"For real?" I asked, and she nodded encouragingly. I shook my head, still watching Milani. "That wouldn't be necessary," I said, my tone dismissive.

"You're not going to implode if you just say hello," Bella teased, and I let out a sigh.

"Bella, I don't owe any girl my attention," I said, trying to brush it off.

"I know," she replied with a shrug.

"So what's the big deal?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"So you don't like her, is that it?" Bella asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"You know I don't take women seriously, the fact that I had intimate with Milani couple of times does not guarantee anything." I said and her face dropped as she stared at me disgustingly.

"You're unbelievable," she said, shaking her head before walking away.

"Don't say we didn't warn you," Gabby said, and I turned to him, confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Nothing, but don't say we didn't warn you," he repeated, his tone cryptic. I let out a deep sigh, feeling drained by the whole Milani situation.

"It just feels sad to hear you say this," I said, my voice laced with frustration. "You know how hard this is for me. It's tiring, suffocating. You guys don't realize how heavy this is."

"Where's Bella?" Veronica asked, walking over with another glass of juice.

"She left," Gabby replied, and my gaze drifted to where Bella, Milani, and a guy were chatting and laughing together. I couldn't help but stare, my eyes fixed on the scene until Milani caught my eye. For a moment, we locked gazes, but she quickly looked away, her expression unreadable.
