The cold in the house seemed twenty times colder now. Gerard just told me his mom is the reason for everyone I grew up with, my dogs, my cats, my parents deaths but I just looked up at him then down at Lily who was in his arms.
"What?" Was all I managed to say through shock, should I be able to forgive him. I thought about it for a second and came to the conclusion that it wasn't his fault but his moms but I don't know what everyone else would think about and if they could forgive him as easily as I just did.
"I am not mad" I told him. I started to stare at Cherry who was asleep in my arms. I saw that lily was asleep as well and Gerard was now stroking her arm.
"She likes you" I told him and he smiled at me.
"Well soon enough we are going to have another baby and are going to have to find a way to take care of all three" Gerard added.
I really wish Jamia was here to hold them right now, I miss her. With that a tear fell from my face and I just kept crying and smiling at the same time because I love my girls so much.
"Gee, do you think that Elisa, Lyn-Z or Kristin will die during labor too because Jamia was one of the t-toughest girls out there and she couldn't do it" I let my tears continue.
"I hope not" was his response. A tear fell onto Cherry's cheek and after waking up her little hand reached up to my face and she put her hand over my tear and almost wiped it away. I smiled at her and she just made weird facial expressions at me, like a baby does.
I just kept staring at her and she fell back asleep. Me and Gerard decided it was time to go back to sleep and put them in a swaddle together beside of us and Lily was facing Cherry, it was adorable.
Me and Gerard cuddled together but tomorrow we would have to take me and Gerard's babies and walk for hours, this is going to be fun.
When I woke up that morning I looked over to see my twins gone, I looked up only to see that Kristin and Elisa were feeding them.
"Thank you" I said and sat up.
"Lily has eyes just like Jamia did" Elisa commented.
"She does" I responded shaking Gerard awake. He groggily sat up and wiped the sleep from his eyes.
I woke up everyone else and we decided we should get going.
"Wait first" I said and took my twins. I opened the back door and showed them the fresh pile of dirt and tears spilt from my eyes.
"That's your mommy she loved you so much even though she never even got to hold you Cherry she was a very strong women and Lily you have her eyes. She loved you girls so so so much and I will tell you that forever because it's true" I told them. I found a rock and took out a marker. I placed Lily's hand on it and traced it and did the same for Cherry on the other side and wrote their names over it.
"I love you Jamia" I whispered and put the rock right above her head.
"Frank we have to go" Gerard said and I blew her a kiss before walking and handing Gerard Cherry.
The blazing road seemed like it took forever since I had two screaming babies constantly sleeping or needing something. We finally reached our destination at the baby store and inside was everything we could possibly need.
"I have an idea" Lyn-Z said.
"And that is?" Gerard replied taking Cherry from me.
"We can stay here until the babies are born it has everything we need" She stated. Gerard nodded yes in agreeance.
"GUYS WE ARE STAYING HERE UNTIL ALL THE BABIES ARE BORN" Gerard yelled and everyone nodded.
I walked around the pastel blue and pink store trying to pick out a crib for Cherry and Lily. I decided on a high end one that was white and had little flowers on it. I put Cherry an Lily is these swingy seat thingys I found and they fell asleep as I put it together.
Gerard came over and helped me out and when it was finished I put in little sheets and found a cot for me and Gerard beside of it.
I swaddled up my sleeping girls and put them inside. They will never grow up normally so what's the point of forcing them too.
The next week consisted of Tyler and Josh being adorable, Cherry and Lily being a handful, Lyn-Z, Kristin and Elisa being a big help, Mikey still being mad at Gerard, Patrick worrying his little ass off and Brendon trying to hit it with Dallon.
Life as a dad is hard.
