Good News

Good News.

Maybe you are like me, and your 2019 hasn't started off the best. Maybe you are really struggling with mental illness, cancer, chronic illness, or a loved one of yours is sick. No matter what you are facing, we could all us some good news. The good news is: God sent Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus did die but then He rose from the grave three days later and defeated death. God loves you so much that not even death could stop His love for you. Now we can have a close relationship with God, be saved from our sins, and go to heaven because of JESUS!

For me, it's only January and I have had some horrible news. My Mom is having to have brain surgery, my Granddad had a massive heart attack and he isn't doing really well. He is still alive (PRAISE JESUS!) but he is not stable, could have another heart attack, and needs heart surgery when he is stable. My Grandma with Alzheimer's had to go into a rehab center so she can learn to walk (she can't walk) and then she will have to go to a nursing home because my Granddad was taking care of her but since he had a heart attack, he can't take care of her anymore. On top of that, I am still in HORRIBLE pain due to my fibromyalgia. I feel so frustrated with not getting better. I am struggling and my family is struggling (so please keep us in your prayers)

Even though I am going through a lot, the one thing I know I can count on is my close relationship with Jesus and I can count on the good news of Jesus. Even if you and your family are really struggling, you can always count on the good news of Jesus.

The good news is: because of Jesus dying on the cross, the veil was torn. Now we can have a close relationship with God. We can find joy, love, guidance, comfort, help, forgiveness, grace, rest, peace, and freedom in Jesus. We are His beloved children so all you have to do is go to God and ask. God would LOVE to give you everything you need. But YOU have to make the first step.

So go home to Jesus! He misses you and He loves you so much! Go to Him! He would love to be close to you and share with you the good news of Jesus!

'"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Prayer:

Dear God,

I want to thank you for the good news of Jesus! Thank you for loving me so much that you sent your one and only Son to die on the cross for my sins. Help me to start building a close relationship with you. I need you Lord. I want to be close to you. So please me build a good, personal, real, and close relationship with you.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.

In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!
