Maya's POV

I was in the middle of trying to fall asleep when I felt Farkle hit my leg.

"Maya are you asleep?" Farkle asked.

"Not anymore," I said rubbing my eyes.

"Oh sorry," Farkle said.

"It's okay what do you need?"

"Oh never mind."

"Okay night," I said rolling over.

"Night."

Lucas woke all of us up this morning. We all ran up the stairs because we knew Topanga was cooking something good.

Us kids always ate out on the back porch during the summer. Lucas sat next to me and Farkle and Riley was on the other sides of Farkle and I.

Lucas and Farkle didn't bother to comb their hair so they had the perfect messy hair.

"So kids what are you planning on doing today?" Topanga asked bring out food for all of us.

"I have to get to work," Lucas said picking up a piece of bacon.

I was disappointed because I wanted all of us to hang out today.

"Lucas you can work all summer today's the first real day Maya's here," Topanga smiled at me.

"I have to save up for college mom," Lucas said.

"Fine fine," Topanga said walking back in.

"Where do you work?" I asked looking up at Lucas.

"At that Crab shack up the road for the beach," Lucas said.

"He's been working there for a couple weeks now," Riley said.

"More like two weeks," Farkle said.

"A couple is two," I said.

"That it is," Farkle smiled.

"Hey I don't see any of you guys with jobs," Lucas said.

"I can't work I'm only 15," Riley said.

"I'm 16 but I haven't found a job yet," I said.

"And your 17 almost 18 and you don't have to job," Lucas said throwing a grape at Farkle.

"Hey I have to focus on football," Farkle said.

"Whatever I have to get ready for work," Lucas said standing up.

I stood up to and stupidly said, "Can I come with you to work."

Lucas gave me a weird look, "Sure can you be ready in 30 minutes."

"Yup," I said, "I just need to get in the shower."

"Alright hurry up," Lucas said.

I ran up stairs and got into the shower. I let my hair air dry and put on some jean shorts with a lace shirt.

I walked down stairs and saw Lucas was leaning against his car. I grabbed my phone and walked out the front door.

"About time," Lucas said opening his door.

"I'm a girl what do you expect?" I said opening my door.

"I remember you when you used to have braces and glasses," Lucas said smiling.

"Don't remind me of those awful years," I said hitting his arm.

"Oh come on we had some pretty good memories within those years," Lucas said.

"Yeah I guess we did," I smiled.

It was true we did.
