Maya's POV

Topanga made us breakfast this morning like every morning. Lucas got up and he looked awful. He had bags under his eyes and looked like he was going to throw up any minute. He went upstairs to his bathroom and we all went up stairs.

"How was the party last night?" Topanga asked.

"It was fun," Riley said.

"Real fun," I said.

"Where's Lucas?" my mom asked.

"I think he went upstairs," Farkle said.

"When he comes downstairs make sure you tell him he doesn't have to go into work today," Topanga said.

"I work there too," I said.

"You do?" my mom asked.

"Yeah Kate had an opening and I took it," I said.

Lucas walked down into the kitchen and sat down next to me. I looked over at him and this time he looked his normal self.

"Lucas you don't have to work today," Topanga said.

"Why not?" Lucas asked.

"We are all going for a picnic today," my mom said.

"Is dad coming?" Farkle asked.

"Yeah," Topanga said, "He just has to work a little bit today."

Corey was big time lawyer and he worked all the time. Growing up down here I noticed that Corey wasn't around much. I knew he cared about Topanga and the kids but he couldn't always be around.

"Be ready in two hours," Topanga said.

"Okay," Riley said getting up.

Farkle got up too and it was just Lucas and I sitting there.

"I'm sorry about whatever I said last night," Lucas said.

I walked up and got him some black coffee.

"It's okay you didn't say that much," I said.

"Well whatever I did I'm sorry about," Lucas said.

I handed him the coffee, "It's okay just try not to get into fights with random guys just because they call me missy."

Lucas laughed, "I'll try."
