"YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT," Charlie accusingly pointed at Eden, the boy wiping his lips with a tissue after throwing up for the fourth time in the past three days. With flushed cheeks and irregular breathing, he coughed a bit and shook his head. Blond locks doused in sweat with slightly watery eyes, he denied the accusation.

He coughed again, finally using the weak grip in his fingers to grasp the paper cup that Ebony passed to him, the white cup filled with water. Sipping it slowly, he blinked and cleared his throat. "I'm fine. I don't need any medicine or anything. You don't need to tell Tony." Eden said slowly, wiping his lips again because of the water painted across them.

"Yup, you're a fucking idiot." He threw his head back, crossing his arms as he glared down at Eden. Tapping his foot, he stared at the other boy across from him as Eden's ivory eyes stayed glued onto the floor below  him. "We need to tell Tony about this, Eden. It's getting out of hand. You keep vomiting and getting nose bleeds, but you aren't sick." Y/n spoke up softly.

Eden snapped, throwing the cup across the room as it crumpled within an instant once it hit the wall. Standing up, he scoffed under his breath. "I can take care of myself just fine. It isn't anything, okay? Just leave me alone." Everyone looked at him with wide eyes, their own viruses creeping up on them, slowly covering their arm instinctively.

Charlie's stare softened at Eden's angry stance. Wisp nearly took over his entire face, his own brown eyes holding incredible malice. "Relax, Eden. We can work out your anger in the gym, alright?" He stepped back, Midnight taking over while Wisp charged at him. Swiping back and forth, Midnight slightly disappeared to let Chip yell.

"Get Faye and Ebony out of here, Y/n!" Grunting, he ducked as Eden sliced through the paint on the wall cleanly. Y/n let Menace cover the rest of her, arms wrapping around Ebony and Faye as she set them down on the ground. Glancing at Ebony who had a scared look on her face along with the younger girl, she knelt to Faye. "Stay. Here."

Running back to the door, she tried to open the door. The doorknob was inevitably jammed as she tried to push the door inwards, only failing as she thought about the possibility of Charlie blocking the door with the beds. "Damn it!" Y/n waited for a few minutes, there was nothing, but silence.

Charlie opened the door, practically falling into his best friend's arms as he wheezed tiredly. "H-He passed out, but he doesn't want us to tell anyone." Faye glared, stomping her foot as she shook her head furiously. Ebony nodded, patting the little girl's shoulder. "What kind of bullshit excuse is that? You two just fought and you expect no one to say anything?"

Charlie scowled, looking directly at Ebony. "Just shut up and do as I say, alright? It's all sorted out. We're both okay and we can just say we got too drunk off our own asses. Play fighting can be our bullshit excuse for the time being. Besides, there's no point in stretching this fight out for longer than it's worth."

The tech guru had a flicker of hurt in her eyes before they returned to normal, holding a glint of acceptance and reluctance. Y/n spoke up for her, helping her friend to a bed and letting him lay down. "Alright, we won't say a word." Shutting the door, Ebony crossed her arms with a judgmental look.

"If we want to keep this a secret, we better come up with a more elaborate excuse than that." She tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear, a small frown shaping her pink lips. Faye looked to the side, her high top sneakers slightly squeaking against the floor as she spun around with a pout. "I think I'm going to head to the kitchen. . . "

Y/n ran a hand through her hair, letting out a small groan. The h/c haired female stared at her Asian-American friend, the girl bouncing back on her heels every now and then. "I don't know at this point. I think I'm just going to walk around for a bit." She excused herself with a sigh, letting her subconscious lead her wherever the Hell it wanted to go.

"Mr. Stark?" A boy wandered down the hallway, body instantly freezing as he saw a girl that was all too familiar meander down the main hallway, her body stiff and movements on autopilot. She seemed to be deep in thought, occasionally bringing her bottom lip in between her teeth or biting her nail, eyes focused and calculated. It was a habit Peter had watched her pick up.

"Oh, Y/n," He cleared his throat, the girl's head whipping towards him as her eyes widened into the size of saucers. "Um, hey." She blinked, cocking her head to the side as she seemed to be still out of it. Y/n stumbled for words, rapidly blinking some more before looking the boy in the eye. "Hey." Peter coughed again, glancing up at her. "A-Are you okay?"

Her eyebrows scrunched in confusion, e/c orbs studying him with an accusing look and slight curiosity. "I'm fine. You're looking for Tony, aren't you? Try his lab, he's usually there anyways." Y/n waved him off, trying not to get distracted with his brown eyes and cute smile, refusing to let her heart ache and tear into pieces once more.

"Y/n, wait," Peter lied, just wanting to spend more time with her. "S-Since he built this new tower, I've only been in the lab a few times. I haven't been here in a few months anyways, c-can you lead me there?" The girl weighed her options, she could say no and seem like a bitch, or say yes and get it over with. It was a five minute walk. Shit couldn't hit the fan in five minutes, right?

Biting her bottom lip as an inkling of blood leaked out, Y/n sighed and caved in to the stupid lie.

"Fine, I'll lead you to Tony's lab."
