"SO, HE PAID FOR THIS?" Peter's arm was wrapped around her shoulders, the two cuddled up in a joint seat of the bus. Across from them, Ned and Ebony who were busy talking ecstatically about different Star Wars things that she'd recently gotten into because of his own influence. Y/n jabbed at him, knowing he was teasing her. "Oh, shut up."

His head lilted back with a small laugh escaping his lips, the boy looking at her with a gaze locked with affection and love. "Relax, darling. I'm just joking." A girl tapped on Y/n's shoulder before she could respond. It was Marie, a bright and shining smile on her lips as Nathaniel was seated beside her. "Just wanted to say you two are a really cute couple."

Peter smoothly spoke up, not letting Y/n respond. "We know," Marie sent another wink their way before sinking back into her seat as she seemed to bicker back and forth with Nathaniel again. Y/n overheard their argument and smiled gently, sharing a look with Peter as the boy quirked a brow. "They're going to date one day."

He smiled at her, "For sure." Viva quickly completed role call, sat beside some other guy before she told the bus driver to move on. Almost instantly, the high spirited college students got into a giant group that broke free of their studious restraints. Someone yelled, and the others soon followed along as they all sang in sync to old songs.

The bus seemed to chorus to a rendition of We Will Rock You by Queen. "BUDDY, YOU'RE A BOY, MAKE A BIG NOISE!" A boy yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth and screaming out his lungs as the others followed along until it reached the chorus. Peter was laughing alongside Y/n, everyone slamming their hands on their seats or stomping their feet in unison with the beat.

"WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU!" A girl shrieked, her fluffy boots stomping onto the floor of the bus loudly while the others whooped for her. It seemed that she didn't talk much since most people were hyping her up at this point. Marie stood up on her seat, much to Nathaniel's dismay and kept the chorus going. "WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU!"

Ebony was taking a video of it while Viva was losing it at the front. She could barely keep in a breath, the girl practically wheezing at this point on how ridiculous the situation was. If you could drive past the entirety of the bus, it would look very much like a coordinated and sinful ritual rather than a scream session of We Will Rock You.

The bus stopped at a gas station, everyone taking a bit of a bathroom break and snack run. Apparently, while Y/n and Peter were wandering around the gas station and grabbing an assortment of snacks to pay for, someone who'd been using the bathroom at the back of the bus had been walked in on. The person walked in on didn't mind, joking about it too.

He laughed loudly and it soon became a running joke, everyone referencing to it every now and then. Soon enough, the quiet time of the bus came. It wasn't scheduled or anything, everyone just knew and it was mentally pressed upon. People put in their earbuds, watched movies, ate snacks, and fell asleep.

Peter was of the percentage that fell asleep, the job of tutoring and classes slowly draining him out to the point of where he was desperate for sleep. Letting his head lay on her shoulder, Y/n had her earbuds booming with some of her bops that were organized into her digital playlists. Occasionally, she'd share little whispers with Ned.

The two just casually talked, chatting about the activities they were excited to complete there and the tons of scheduled things they could do once they reached the snowy cabin. Y/n shifted too much, however, when Peter woke up beside her groggily. He slowly moved up, the girl looking back at him. "Sorry, did I wake you up?"

He shook his head, smiling tiredly and taking one of the earbuds out of ears. Popping it into his right ear, he took out a bag of Goldfish that they'd bought while at the gas station. Offering some, Y/n didn't dare to turn him down as she took some and ate it piece by piece. Ned eventually fell asleep as well, Ebony eating a lollipop contentedly while watching a movie.

"You're not tired?" He asked quietly, offering the bag to her again as his girlfriend picked out a few more and shoved them into her mouth. Finished with the crunching, Y/n pushed some of her hair to the side of her neck opposite from Peter. Looking up at him, she lightly shook her head, but couldn't help that her eyes drooped slightly.

Peter kissed her forehead enticingly, only lulling her to sleep even more as the same song continued on loop and his arm stayed wrapped around her lazily. She left the rest of his weight on him, but he didn't mind and let her sleep in peace. Just because he was juggling two majors and a job didn't mean Y/n couldn't be tired either.

He turned around when Marie had poked his shoulder and asked for some snacks, the boy tossing back some bags of chips they'd also bought at the mini stop. Still munching on Goldfish, Peter watched the array of trees pass by in a brown and green blur. Another hour or so passed, only two hours left on the clock until they reached the destination.

Now seeing blankets of snow up ahead, it seemed to kick into everyone's minds that they'd ruled over the past hours that they'd either slept, laughed, or screamed through. Everyone let out joyous yells, Y/n waking up because of it. She didn't mind very much since she saw it coming, but was a bit upset when she couldn't get more sleep.

Taking the earbuds stuck in one of his ears and one in her ears, he shot little webs in it and made sure that he hid his web shooter easily. Putting it in her ears, he was definite that it covered the mesh that the sound was coming from. She was confused, but now realized that she didn't hear anything. He smiled and kissed her forehead again, the girl reading his lips.

"You can sleep now, darling."
