"NO, I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE THIS." She threw her head back with a groan, a load of books in her arms along with the weight of her backpack slightly slowing her down. People wandering the hall occasionally gawked at her, asked for pictures, signatures, and the occasional thirsty punch in the face.

Peter's arm was wrapped around her, being the stubborn and protective person he was, he refused to let her walk to class alone. He wasn't stupid when it came to street smarts, no matter how innocent he was. He knew how these hallways worked and that most boys would be asking for her number because of the fame and money.

Y/n shifted her side braid to a comfortable position and walked along with him until she reached her first University class. Peter chuckled at her reaction from his simple question about her experience so far. "It can't possibly be that bad, Y/n. We literally just entered the building minutes ago."

With a fake sad look in her eyes, she looked at him. "It really is, Peter." He rolled his eyes at her and pressed his lips against her cheek. Occasionally, he'd throw out the usual glare at some staring boys or girls who even dared to look at the love of his life like that. She jabbed Peter, noticing his actions. "Chill, Parker. I love you, not them."

She mused, kissing his cheek and entering the classroom. The two took a seat next to each other and he was sure that she got the corner seat. Viva, however, had a different class first due to her being in a different major which was physical fitness. Ebony also had a completely different schedule because of her major in database administration.

Peter and Y/n only had similar classes because his smart self was double majoring the entirety of college while she stuck with nursing. Of course, highly inspired by Bruce Banner and Tony Stark, he was going for chemical engineering and biology. Raking some of his hair back, he set his journals down.

About twenty minutes passed before the professor entered in with a cup of coffee, rushed hairstyle, and an even messier attire of clothing. She was wearing a not fully buttoned up white button up, black pencil skirt, and black blazer. It was clear that she was trying to look the part, but obviously didn't have the time to get ready like the part.

The woman quickly buttoned her top before pulling up her slideshow and ecstatically talking at a rapid pace. Y/n could barely keep up, having to sneak Menace's limb into another journal so she could write twice as fast. Peter seemed to take notice and snorted, watching her before moving onto his own notes.

He was quick and swift with his as well. Although they were sitting in the back of the classroom, their enhanced hearing helped a ton and they could hear everything clearly from that big of a distance. Students would stare at them sometimes, some of shock while others held a glint of envy in their eyes.

The professor drawled on and on, until class was over and the only class the two had to look forward to were the ones that they weren't together in. There were two other classes they had to go to, Peter stuck with anatomy while Y/n was going into the study of medicine. He frowned when she kissed him and said goodbye, moving onto her next class.

He made sure he had everything before saying goodbye to her as well. Once he turned around, the Parker was instantly ambushed with an entire array of different students asking about her and his relations with her. He would get the casual 'Can I hit that?' questions from stupid jerks, and he'd try his best not to punch them in the face.

Moving past the crowd and diving under arms, he made it to his next class. The teacher would occasionally call him out, the nerd answering correctly each time. Peter enjoyed this class, it felt like absolute bliss to finally have confidence and speak out whenever he felt like it. On the other hand, Y/n was conquering absolute Hell itself.

Her professor would send daggers of glares at her, but the girl didn't fail to catch his timing and send glares back. Apparently, Menace became so riled up within herself that the monster revealed itself and dared to snap its jaws. Some of the students noticed, but didn't dare to speak up about it.

Instantly, the adult stopped looking her way and went on with the lesson. Copying down notes was easy and simple and although the girl didn't understand all of it, she knew she could count on one of the three intelligent people in the Avengers tower when it came to homework and assignments.

Finishing the last of her notes, the girl stuffed her things away and was soon enough bombarded by ecstatic upperclassmen. Pushing past them with a growl of her own, Menace's limbs occasionally thrashed about out of discomfort and irritation. Peter couldn't help, but laugh when she met him at the main entrance of the campus.

It was clear that Menace was trying to take over, red bubbling at the surface of her left hand. He walked over to her and saved her the distance. The girl practically melted into the kiss he'd pulled her in for as her version of Venom left her hand and sunk back into her skin easily. "How you calm me down in this state is an absolutely profound miracle, Parker."

He giggled at that and left another sweet peck on her cheek before latching his hand with hers and skipping down the sidewalk. She noticed a familiar sleek black car and took the lead this time, taking him down other areas as he stuttered. "Y/n? What the- Y/n! Happy's waiting to pick us up!"

She merely grinned as his heart fluttered at the sight. Here was the girl that drove him absolutely crazy in the best and worst ways. The girl that made him worry his heart out to the point that he felt like he couldn't breathe. The girl that made him cry and regret his actions for days on end, the memories never fading. Now, by an impossible miracle, she was here.

"Live a little, Peter."
