IT WAS ODD FOR PETER, his foot nervously jerking back and forth between the edge of his bed and the floor. It bumped back and forth, his eyes glancing occasionally to the door when there was the slightest sound of a click. Manual still in his lap, Peter was pretty desperate to get closer to his best friend again.

True, they had a little fight after Y/n left, but got back together soon after; that simply didn't make everything okay though. Ned deserved to know what was going on, and nonetheless, from the actual source itself. Hence, Peter asking Ned to come over since he recently bought a Star Wars Lego set.

Ned opened the door, making Peter's head shoot up instantly. "Hey," The boy gave a raised eyebrow and set his bag aside filled with another Lego set since they'd definitely finish the current one that Peter got just a few hours after noon. Peter stuttered slightly, cracking an odd smile. "Hey."

Ned sat down, pulling out his phone and clicking on YouTube. Instantly, the video of their most recent fight involving the Carnage reincarnation was shown. He spoke quietly, "I saw your fight." Peter expected some kind of criticism for not letting Ned know earlier on, but to be honest, the fight was never seen to arrive in the past.

Instead, Ned jumped up and yelled. "It was fucking epic!" He bounced up and down with a wide grin, appreciating his friend with the entirety of his heart. Ned was literally a walking ball of sunshine and how people would stereotype and ignore him for being so positive and amazing was absolutely disgusting.

His best friend grinned, "Really? I thought you'd be mad at me!" The boy shook his head, his phone still in his hand before pocketing it when he realized that he could drop it and possibly crack it if he kept jumping up and down. Ned beamed ecstatically, "Hate you? No! How can I hate you? You're my best friend and my best friend is Spider-Man!" He emphasized.

Peter shushed him, his window still cracked open as his yells could still be heard and probably echoed throughout the neighborhood enough for someone to register the sentence. Ned just giggled giddily and smiled, whispering the same sentence. "My best friend's Spider-Man!" Peter just nodded, tears pricking at his eyes out of pure euphoria. "Yeah, he is."

However, he prevented himself from tearing up by staring at the wall blankly for a bit before reverting his eyes back to his best friend. Ned just smiled, pointing at the box that sat on Peter's bed. "Are we going to build that one?" Peter nodded, grinning widely and snatching it from the top of his blankets before passing it to Ned. "You know it."

Hours passed, the first Lego structure fully built and set aside as the one that Ned brought was the one that they attached pieces to. Ned snapped on a gray Lego, squinting his eyes and pulling his bottom lip between his top teeth. "How's Y/n doing?" Peter hummed softly, fitting a yellow one onto the right spot. "She's doing fine. She isn't completely okay, but we're here for her."

Ned nodded, smiling slightly. "Tell her I wish her the best," Peter beamed at the kind and genuine comment while he picked up another Lego, glaring at the object before snapping on a piece in the right place that he knew he'd never be able to get off if he put it in the wrong place. "I will, don't worry."

May opened the door, being considerate enough to check on the boys kindly. "Do you two want to just get some pizza?" Ned instantly answered, fine with pizza while Peter waited for his friend's response before answering. Giving a thumbs up, Peter fiddled with an odd colored Lego piece. "Pizza's good, May."

She whispered a soft word of compliance and give a thumbs up before closing the door gently and walking away, most likely to go sit on the couch and continue the movie with Dylan. From outside, the boys could hear Dylan ordering the pizza whilst they probably watched Love Actually for the umpteenth time because of May's requests.

A knock resounded twenty minutes later, followed by some mumbles before Dylan called for the both of them. "Boys!" He yelled, Peter picking up the Lego figure gently and setting it on his bed before standing up while Ned waited for his friend. The two headed for the living room as the pizza box was open on the table, open for everyone.

Snatching a slice and a paper plate each, everyone enjoyed their movie while Love Actually indeed was still on the TV. Dylan occasionally murmured some words back and forth between him and May, chews of pizza in between their soft conversations. Ned glanced at Dylan, taking a bite of his pizza. "Does Dylan know?" He mumbled.

Peter shook his head subtly, swallowing his piece of pizza before taking another chomp of his pizza. He rolled his shoulders back in a relaxed manner, eyes glued to the TV, but he wasn't really paying attention to what was playing on it. "Don't plan on telling him unless it comes to it, or if him and May end up together together." Ned just nodded, biting again.

The pizza slowly disappeared until all that was left was some cardboard and grease spots, Dylan carrying May to their shared bedroom before tucking her in and joining her. The boys were left with the duties of cleaning up after dinner, Peter throwing the box away while Ned folded up the shared blankets between all of them.

He set them aside on the arm part of the couch and turned off of the TV, exiting Netflix just a little before that. Peter stretched a bit, washing his hands before moving aside to let Ned wash his hands too. The boys headed back to Peter's bedroom and rearranged the Lego figures, that way they wouldn't break it beforehand.

Ned moved his arms, sighing. "Do you think they'll last?"

Peter chewed on his bottom lip silently before nodding, a small smile on his face. "I sure hope so."
